On Future Contests

I have three polls regarding future contests.

After the success of the last contest, the positive reception and staff consensus decided that we will be holding another contest.

 

First question: what type of competition? There are three types:

- Screenshot Contest. The best screenshot will become the background for JKHub.

- Mapping Contest. There are very few mappers available, and by everyone getting together to make maps, we can all improve our skill. This would be aimed primarily at beginners, although there will be a special tier for advanced mappers.

- Sabering Contest. Everyone gets together and we do a day or two of duels. This could serve as a good opportunity for @@Caelum to advertise his services.

 

The second question is very simple. If we host a mapping competition, how long would you need to make a map?

 

The third question: would you be interested in a "Hall of Fame" to showcase past winners?

I still want to see that JKHub collab map happen.

I don't know if that map is still around, or if there are key players from it (wasn't MUG part of that? he swore off JKHub long ago)

I voted 1-3 months for a mapping contest - any longer and it would just lose momentum.

 I agree that mapping contests shouldn't take too long. I'd also love to see a collab map, I had no idea one was even considered.
