JPEG Issues

Recommended Posts

You'll need to provide a little more info than that.

They don't show up after you edit them, or when you load them initially?

Make sure the paths are correct. They must be in a base folder like so:

base/models/players/luke/

Also, if you changed the name of the folder of the model you are editing, you must change the paths in the .skin files as well.

After they've been edited. Let's say i changed a Bly to a Captain Rex. The textures (after being edited wwith GIMP) won't show up in Modview.  Also, paths are correct. Base/models/players/Rex.

I've found Gimp saves jpeg images with progressive loading by default. When the jpeg save dialog box shows up, you can find the option to disable it under the Advanced (or Additional?) options drop down.

But one has to export the file to save it as anything other than an XCF.
