The beginning of HapSlash's modeling career

I stumbled across this earlier. His first model and a begrudging attitude towards modeling? He must have grown to love it.

Most of his models were edited JA base models, the thing he was really good at were the textures, amazing texture artist.

He finally grew to make his own models then towards the end of his JKA career he was able to weight his own creations. When he started, it was his brother Infinity Blade who weighted all his models.

I just find it interesting that he "begrudgingly" took on modeling.

Yeah, if he never did then we wouldn't have models like EP3 Obi-Wan or EP3 Anakin.

Better than how I started modeling: 'OH MY GOSH THATS AWESOME *spends 5 hours in Blender* *sees other peoples work*... oh... now this is not quite as awesome. *trashes over 300 projects*

He stopped modeling after he finished Anakin. He moved away from JA completely after that. I'm not sure what he's doing now.

No, I can't think of anything that he released on his own. Infinity Blade did a lot of background work on many projects, especially HapSlash's projects.

HapSlash is perhaps one of those talented people who disappear out of sudden, almost the same way they appear to the community. And only their works remain... 

 

However, I am glad, that HapSlash is open to those, who want to ask him about something or show their appreciation on the models, he created. I contacted him too, some time ago.

Not the ones he never released. You can find his releases in our file section, however. Just search for "hapslash"
