About This File

A long time ago in a community, not so far away...

I present you my final version of the original trilogy Anakin Skywalker, as we remember him portraited by Sebastian Shaw (great actor)

from 1983 ROTJ ending.

Now all fans can play with him as Jedi Master Anakin or redeem Skywalker...whatever you like.

The Force Ghost version is not included for now, because I am not able to spend time on it so it's all up to you people.

Software used: iClone 4.3 and Blender

File Name: Anakin_Skywalker1983.pk3

Installation: Put the ".pk3" file inside your "GameData/Base" folder.

NPC Support: YES

SINGLE PLAYER support: YES

MP Support/Teams: NO

Sound Pack: YES

How to use:

NPC SPAWN ANAKIN_SKYWALKER1983

PLAYERMODEL ANAKIN_SKYWALKER1983

Works perfect with Vanilla Jedi Knight III: Jedi Academy (does not require to install OpenJK or anything else)!!

BUGS:

* Few minor bugs on the robes

* matching color of hands/head

* does not have head animations (so no talk, when in conversations).

* Also not to forget, that even after I have tried to smooth the entire head it still shows inside the game as with small triangles, as you will see in some of the screenshots.

* Dunno why, but it has some base female Jaden sounds, while the sound file is for Male only

The picture of him sitting next to Rosh in the first cutscene is hilarious xD

Idk why someone rated it 1, it looks really good to me besides the minor issues with the robes

It does not contains the sounds.cfg file, that's why the female sounds. Add a text file called "sounds.cfg" (without quotes) in the model folder  (players\Anakin_Skywalker1983) with 2 lines:

Tbh, it looks a bit too photo-realistic.

It doesn't mesh well with the graphics.

Yeah, nice work :) but hands and face is too painted? I dont know word for that. You look on classic JKA models and yours, it differs. Maybe you can fix it by adding hands from other model.

Hands are from HapSlash's Obi-Wan model, that Seven used for his TFU Ben Kenobi, and just recolored a little bit, but not as good as they were supposed to be. The face however is just a 'rip-off' from the photo source mesh up made from Sebastain + Hayden photoshopped image. If you are familair with iClone software and it's convertion method from a certain 2D photo into a 3D model, you will understand why it's so photo-realistiic and not as other JKA models. Plus i personally find it good for my own taste, since it give a more realistic expression on Sebastian Shaw. Only thing he needs is the head to be smoother and that's all.

You need to blend the photo source with hand painting on the model itself or else it looks very odd, still a good attempt, just needs more artistic work.

A few problems with the hands and face, but it's great! 4/5

My only request from this point is a Dark Side version (possibly with a hood) so we can see an elderly suitless Darth Vader.
