Hey all,
I remember about 10 years ago, they had a duel map of the area where Ventress and Dooku spar after their first meeting in Clone Wars (2003). Does anyone still have it? I remember it being awesome but I can't find it anywhere! Not even in mrwonko's collection of old filefront maps... Any help here would be hot.

Either way, I've been slowly putting all the cool content from all SW eras together using various people's work along with my own to make a master collection of content for playing against computer players. It's gonna take me forever but I'm loving building it! Kinda like your idea... I love the idea of moviebattles, I just don't wanna play with humans...

Correction! After much experimenting, I have figured out how to edit these files using a hex editor. If anyone needs help, I can tell you more about it. The only hiccup I've run into is ADDING to the files. Like if a file has no music assigned to it in the bsp file, I have no clue how one would be able to add it in. I've played with it in all kinds of ways and no luck. If anyone knows how to ADD to bsp files, lemme know. For now, I'm pretty content with changing the bsp file using a hex editor!

They actually make a reference to that concept art in TCW. It would be cool to see that version too!

If it does reference a music file (Even if it doesn't exist), you should be able to make your own PK3 file that adds or overwrites the missing file - just name the pk3 something alphabetically later than the original PK3 file. At least, that is how it's supposed to work...

Can anyone tell me how to change a bsp file's music reference???

Nevermind... I was using a map that was referring to a different music file and was not playing anything because of it. Disregard!

So I've been doing some experimenting and it would seen either JA++ OpenJK, or just the base game have additional requirements to music audio. I'm still experimenting but I've got a stereo, 44100hz, 32bit mp3 that works and another stereo, 44100hz, 32bit mp3 that doesn't. So confusing. I'll let you know if I discover anything!

Any way to automatically load the mod upon startup? Or do I have to go to the "mods" section every time?

Gasp! I think I found out why. It appears there are conflicting images with the same folder names that it is trying to draw from both. Like it creates the model from one folder, then the icon from another. I have found the issue with 1 of 2 images. I'm still searching for the 2nd. I think its the same problem though! Thanks for the help mrwonko! I hope this helps others with the same stupid problem. So simple...

Good idea. But one (the one that has an image of a t-pose) doesn't have any shaders in the file. And the other (that refers to the random image) has a shader but it's only for lighting effects for the model's legs. Any other ideas? This is frustrating me so much! How could something get a random image that exists nowhere in the file???

mrwonko??? You're like a celebrity! Thanks for responding. The size doesn't seem to be an issue with these few examples I've noticed. Would you elaborate on enabling progressive mode?
Also I just came across another model that doesn't use icon_default but another image entirely... an image that isn't anywhere that I can find in the model folder! Super strange. I have no idea how it would even refer to any other image other than icon_default. Let me know!

Hey all,
I've been adjusting some previously made models and adding botfiles, sound, improved skin, improved icon images etc... Anyways, I've noticed some models don't use the icon_default image in their model folders and instead create their own image of the model itself in a t-pose. Why is this? And how do I make it rely on the icon_default instead? Any help here would be hot. Meesa muy muy confused. Okieday?

Hey all,
I've been messing around with sound files for characters but noticed there seem to be a limit on the size/ quality of sound files. Does anyone actually know the limit exactly? It seems to be dependent on whether it is a music file for a map or sound bite for a character. I have been messing around with limiting the size with various free online websites that reduce the size, adjust the volume etc but I was hoping someone would know the exact specs on the size limits... Lemme know!

I used to actually have it. It's super basic but it was just perfect. That's the only one I remember having in particular from 2009 or so. Good memories

I said "inspired". whether they actually made them is another story haha. So many good ideas people tossed out during the lead up to the contest. Only to have a few join. I'm one of those hypocrites unfortunately. Had so many good ideas and life then got in the way... Darn it!

I think JKHub should host a Bad Batch contest in honor of the new show. It inspired so many great creations for the Mandalorian contest and I'd like to see more! With summer coming up, I think I'll get to work on some of the creations on my to-do list but I'd also like to know if anyone has made any Bad Batch guys.

I recently updated the Adi Gallia that I think Kualan made? (for personal use). Anyways, I was gonna try and find a way to add her CW gauntlets onto that model but I've been doing other things. If I do get started on that one, it seems to be easy to translate to Obi-wan's. So I'll add that on there if I have the time/ once I finish the other things I'm working on... I'll keep you posted!
