  1. So who's missed out on a PS4 so far? I have, because I couldn't afford do the pre-order before the cutoff. :\ They seem to be sold out in Australia, and we have no idea when our second shipment in 2014 will get here.
  2. No one here who can currently port models will, and any ports won't be hosted here. You want a port? learn and do it yourself and keep it for personal use only. Btw If you're going to try and host it, just remember - any modding hosting sites you post ports run the risk of removing the links or getting their entire site shutdown by the original developers of said ports. So think before you try it.
  3. Should finally be able relax, both Mara Jade & Luke ESB are waiting for approval. Hopefully my work is done with those two projects. :)

  10. I'll muck around with this, thanks for the idea of misc_model. Now would it be at all possible to have the fake bumpmapping on players/weapons?
  11. I'm going to also see if I can have proper holding + firing animations for each weapon, not just a "one animation fits all solution" raven did. If I get those source files from DF2mod, I promise you guys there WILL be a demo. The only thing that will stop me is if: - my pc dies - I die From what I've read, DF2mods version of narshadda is like 99% complete and quite a lot of other maps are well underway.

  13. @Captain Lackwit I'll certainly keep you in mind for designing weapons if DF2Mod hasn't already made them of course (and I get the files). @@katanamaru Awesome, was a tad worried about that lol. Yeah I was thinking of having a special GLA just for Maw, will be fun to animate. I could all sorts of bones for cinematic GLA's on standard player models, but will have to see if there's anything I'll need to make ingame cutscenes for cuz AFAIK the live action videos cover it all.
  14. From what this says: http://www.moddb.com/games/star-wars-jedi-academy/tutorials/creating-fake-bumpmapping-in-jka looks to work for brushes as well but some fine tuning only works on patches. I could be wrong.
  15. Maw should be easy enough, half a player model. I'll be fixing up any models that don't look right or could use a touch-up, including Maw. Gorc & Pic will just be two NPC saberists with a few force powers, hopefully they can be rescaled in SP. If not, then I will have to go through all the trouble of remaking some jedi anims for the lil guy. :\ New weapons can be coded in provided OpenJK is stable enough to mod with. It's just finding someone who can do it. For weapon models & moldy crow, I'm waiting to see what (if any) assets I get from the first incarnation of DF2Mod.

  17. Update: Added reduced poly version of the Khaliban saber, tweaked the belt texture + slanting.
  18. It really sucks that you can no longer register at massassi temple, Ibanez/Zell's last activity was yesterday..... :\ That guy is a brilliant mapper and totally transformed Narshadda.

  20. Is there a way to get the fake bump mapping that works on patch objects in a map to work on models?
  21. You can have new animations and new bones while keeping the current animations in JKA. I've done it before with my new facial bones + animations.

  23. Why Lucas did that I dunno. :/ I'll do a reskin of the saber, it will prolly be a bridge between the two versions but I'm going for an ESB look over EP3.
  24. DF2 is still being worked on. I'm fine tuning some scripts, finalising the intro text crawl, converting movies and learning more about radiant. Holding off on mapping for DF2 to wait and see if I can obtain the original DF2Mod files. If I can, it will make my version of this map redundant. P.S I've put in a request for a DF2 mod sub forum, not sure how long that's going to take to get up and running.
  25. Only thing I can suggest is bone merging, source engine does this but it would require the whip model to have a GLA but not animated. @@Xycaleth @@Raz0r @@eezstreet can answer from a programmers POV.
