  1. @@dark_apprentice Just so you know, why I mentioned about using the default Jaden head on your mod is because of towards the end of the game, when Jaden turn to the Dark Side, the overall effect is to have this happen (as an additional mod)

    And using a different head would look/be out of place and would be a completely different character.

  2. Ok, so just been speaking with @@MagSul, on Steam chat and he's done a quick mock-up of the face and overall effect we're going for..

    Looks pretty awesome and would actually work really well. It's only be the head that we need from the texture, as the body parts would be from the base game or from the additional garments that are in JK Enhanced. The code part of the game still needs to be addressed and looked at, for it to actually go into the game. Whether @@MagSul will do the other Jaden heads in the same fashion.. I don't know. But this is a start and it's definitely on the right lines.

  3. Pretty good work so far. Could you make the hair darker? Not a jet black colour, but more of a darker brown.. And maybe a few adjustments to the blue squares on his chest, on the jacket. If you can get one line instead of two and make take the colour of out them a bit, so it's more of a pale blue. If you could make the trousers more of a brown colour, that'd be great. But I do like the detail on the clothes. It's a good start. Keep me updated here..

    You could, in fact try and use the default Jaden head, in the game and just make the hair colour more of a darker brown (take the red tone out of his hair) and that would suffice..

    I want to make this mod more realistic... :)

     

    So

     

    I changed the force menu,so after the missions you can level up your defualt force powers too every time (jump,speed,push,pull,sence).

    And is this possible that Jaden can start with a saber and a pistol,and he don't have saber throw?

    It is a script or what?

    If someone can help,please do it 4 us! ;)

  5. So you would fuel the fires of war because the struggle between the jedi and sith are a necessary component of existence? If the sith are on the brink of extinction, you would end up aiding them and the dark side? You would have worlds sacrificed in the name of somekind of cosmic balance, because jedi and sith have to wage endless war? In short: You consider struggle to be a kind of harmony?

    Simple answer; yes. I've always let the "darkness" overcome me, because it's what I personally feel inside, all the time. I've tried to follow the "light" and do good, but no matter how much good you try and do, you're easily "pushed around" (figure of speech) or "walked all over" and it also conveys a sense of weakness. Well, I oppose to that. I could go on and on and on about why, but the simple fact is, that "Peace is a lie". It will never be attainable. There will always be conflict in the world/universe, no matter what point of view you try to view it from.

  6. @@GPChannel Something just came to mind..

    First, I'm pleased you're turning the "Blenjeel" map/mission into "Jakku". That honestly makes the most sense. I was however, thinking of a new skybox for it, though. I can't remember if you'd already done it or not.. But adding in crashed Star Destroyers, to the surrounding area, is a logical and good idea. Especially considering that Jakku had them in the movie.

     

    But the Kril'dor map, the one that I did a new skybox for and as I recall, you asking if you could use it.. It'd be a very good idea to turn it green (if it's not already), to match the colour of the planet, that's seen from space, when Jaden and Wedge are flying their X-Wings to the planet. But if you could somehow edit the skybox images and make them seem a bit more "polluted", instead of being a clean, starry sky. Considering that the planet is a gas planet with power-plantations scattered around it, like the one in the mission, itself.

  7. To be honest, currently everyone is working on their own thing... I couldn't say for others. Regarding me, no, sorry. If you think about it, this is a big challenge for anyone. I bet that you'll never convince anyone to do it "for" you or just cuz you came up with it. People don't like to do that very much.

    No, that's fair enough.. I know there's a number of people already working on various other projects, which in their own way will help out, in some way. But the option and idea is always open to them, if they wanna take up any of the challenge..

    This is more of the sort of thing I was referring to, about completely NEW/different saber models, for the Single Player. To sort'a freshen the list up a bit, instead of using saber's we are already familiar with. Something unique and individual. Will be interesting to see you work on these @@Seven. I think (From left to right) the 3rd, 4th or 5th one in, could be a good model to use for Jaden's initial lightsaber, that he creates at the beginning of the game. With perhaps an "unstable" yellow blade to go with it.

  9. **Assistance Needed**
    The mod is progressing steadily, but we are in need of someone who's familiar or has experience with "scene making". We're currently looking to add a cut-scene to the map/mod, that involves a "light interrogation" conversation between Jaden and the bartender located in either one of the 2 bar areas (image/s below);

    (@@Cerez, what did we say or do we think is the best place for the bartender conversation to take place in, between the two bar areas?)

    If anyone could possibly help out with the production of this, it would be greatly appreciated and your name would also be included in the credits of the mod, if you wish to be included. This is open to anyone willing to help out..
    (@@therfiles or @@Mert-K, is this something that either one of you could maybe lend a hand with?)

    It's still undecided yet, as to whether the bartender conversation will simply be a peaceful conversation or whether it will involve some "firm intimidation" (by Jaden igniting his lightsaber). Currently, I was thinking that if the "Upper Bar area" is the one used, then a more peaceful interrogation would take place, as there would be more civil citizens in that particular area (no lightsaber ignition, just simple questioning), whereas the "Lower Bar area", would maybe require some firm intimidation, as it's more likely that there'll be thugs, scum and the Coruscant underworld, in that area. Although, it may even be an idea to use both bar areas, instead of just one. Again, this is open to suggestion and would welcome any feedback from the community.

  10. Ok people, so just as the title says.. Does anyone or has anyone got any previous experience with using the "Clickteam Install Creator" (found at: http://www.clickteam.com )?

    I'm currently trying to "de-compile" the MD2 (Movie Duels II) (found at: http://www.moddb.com/mods/star-wars-movie-duels) mod and edit some files inside.. And add in the "SFX Sabers" effect, using OpenJK. As the current version of the mod doesn't really support it, by default, as such. So obviously, I'm looking to add all this stuff in together, into one installation file, rather than have separate files stored elsewhere and have to add them in after installation, each time.

  11. So after some discussion with Circa, regarding this.. He said that he looked into it a bit and couldn't quite figure out how to do it (or if it was even possible). So, @@MagSul @@Ramikad, can either of you confirm whether this mod would be possible and if it is, would you be able to make it so?

     

    I'd rather his eyes change when he gets to Korriban, because the dark side eyes don't appear instantly. It happens after awhile. You don't see his eyes change until he's on Mustafar and had killed all the Trade Federation guys. That was probably a few days after he officially turned.

     

    I may look into this.

    Yeah, I agree that this change should take effect, when he gets to Korriban. It does make more logical sense, that way. When he's speaking to the Jedi, outside the Sith Temple (Maybe as far, as upto the point where he faces Kyle or Tavion and changes back to normal just before the duel begins).

     

    Discussion is up for debate, if someone else wants to give their input/feedback on the suggested change.

  12. Is pretty easy to replace the default hilts with what hilts you want. I replaced all my default ones plus made a SP pack with over 40 hilts.

    Yes. I know how to do that, too. But this thread is about "Saber Requests", so I thought that @@Seven could probably look into doing some fresh, new hilts, instead of one's people are familiar with and have already seen. Something we haven't really seen before, but taking inspiration from current ones, if need be..

  13. @@Rooxon is already doing remakes of the single player sabers, both single and staff. 

    I know that, but re-read my post again. I'm not talking about HD remakes of the current saber hilts in the game. I'm talking about doing NEW hilts. Something different. All the current one's a pretty boring and the only decent looking hilt is the "Arbiter". The rest are meh. We could use some new models.
