  1. Obligatory Clone Wars status.

  2. Well, I downloaded the mod, and the first thing I saw was an animation.cfg file outside of the .pk3, not sure if that's supposed to be inside the pk3 or not if that affects anything. One thing I didn't look at was Jabba holding a gun though: Again, the weapons are just oversized, plus Jabba seems to prefer looking up instead of looking forward (pictured next to stormtrooper for reference).
  3. Alright, so what I noticed (tested in OpenJK Single Player only) : There's an unknown alphagen parameter to start, plus the playermodel for some reason makes the saber hilt huge! Not sure what's happening there. The other thing I noticed was when jumping around, the models hand doesn't hold the hilt, so the hilt actually clips through the models hand. One other nitpick I'd mention is the tail in the walking/movement animation. the tail just seems to hang left always, where I feel it should wiggle left to right respectively (or at least up and down like a snail). Amazing work so far! Jabba is a great character and this is phenomenal progress.
  4. Also an IOI sixer for the enemies.
  5. I was thinking that because Ready Player One is set inside a game, and has Star Wars references, that we could get their in-game avatars into JKA. All the ones that would be awesome: Anorak Parzival Art3mis Sho Daito Aech Irok Sorento
  6. Just look at TLJ for that. Could you imagine if Rian started being negative towards those who didn't like TLJ? It's the same thing with anything. When someone creates something to allow other people to use/see/whatever, you're not going to get everyone to like what you make. Heck I'm sure people dislike some of my mods released here too. That's just life. However, there are three ways to go about it if you're the person who dislikes it. You can A. Move on and forget about it. B. Just be totally negative and offer no insight as to why you dislike the said creation. and C. Stay positive about it, offer some constructive criticism to the creator from your view and keep polite. From what I see, you went with the polite constructive route. The mentality is pretty bad though. You're right there too along with everything else. You offered constructive criticism which would be a wonderful opportunity for the creator to hone their skills and refine them for more epic models in the future. You could have just said "it sucks", but you made sure to be nice about it. I don't really see an issue with anything you've said honestly. Personally, I like when someone gives me some feedback on what's wrong with the mod I'm working on - something that I probably would have overlooked myself, such as a missing shader or missing texture, anything really. That way, with the help of others, my mod can be 100% as best as it can be for what it is. You're not alone anyway. All anyone seems to say is "do it yourself", even when you're not offering constructive criticism. It basically translates to "I'm going to be a jerk and not listen to you so I'll bat your claims off by telling you to do it, instead of taking your claims in my stride".
  7. Luke Crait talks and has facial animations! 10/10. Most models with realistic heads don't have that.
  8. Brosnan in that Kyle outfit looks familiar.. I know! He looks like Director Krennic. A very similar look to Ben Mendelsohn.
  9. That's it. I need a full base playermodel/NPC head swap conversion to famous people. Wonder who could replace Jan's head.. Angelina Jolie?
  10. I could see Tobey as Rosh. Rosh quote "I'm sooo good!"
  11. Exactly. There's so many celebrities getting their heads rendered into games. You could literally replace all the base JA characters with famous faces. Imagine Brosnan as Rosh!
  12. Has anyone ever done this? Let me provide an example of what I'm talking about. Taking the face of a celebrity from a game or other source, let's use Daniel Craig as the example here. The playermodel from 007: Blood Stone (PS3) Then applying that head, to a JKA playermodel. For example, we know that Daniel Craig was actually a cameo Stormtrooper in The Force Awakens, so maybe a version of the TFA Stormtrooper without the helmet, with Daniel Craig's head. This could be done with many celebrities, and applied to different JKA playermodels, you could even create entirely NEW characters with celebrities, such as taking the head of Judy Dench, and putting it onto Jedi robes, then reskinning it all and adding a new hairstyle and saber to create an entirely new character. The possibilities could be endless.
  13. There's a neat little Minecraft map in The Stanley Parable too.
  14. Lmao the way their faces look with their neck.. Awesome work though!
  15. All that's left is a Minecraft map then.

Not sure what to think of this. But I don't think I'd play it either way, my computer would probably not be able to run it -.-

  16. Here's a bit of reference for the underbelly and tail shape. Also the skin seems to have way more lines in it in that toy. A strange tattoo on his arm and squid-like holes under his tail. The tail is more pointed at the tip.
  17. Ah I see. I just thought it would be cool to have a playable Jabba as well as an NPC Jabba that you can kill.
  18. Woah. The speed of this is nuts! I really can't wait to slice people up playing as Jabba with a light saber, or blasting people as Jabba with a gun. I'd laugh my butt off seeing what the opening cutscenes are like with Jabba as the playermodel!
  19. With all those spoilers, I thought it was the other "character" from SOLO. Still, amazing work, thank you!
  20. I appreciate that. IrocJeff is currently helping me out and it should be finished/solved soon. If anything goes wrong, I'll let you know. As of right now it's in progress.
