Yeah, that tends to happen between those version switches. Hmm, might have to change it in the wiki if it doesn't work to execute jk2mpconfig. If you don't have any other configs, just go to options and set default, which will reset the controllers. But you'll have to fix things like video resolution too then.

Oh, it's by all means possible. I have a downgraded Steam version I use for some things. But there's nothing to do with the fact that people would have to go on the internet to get to 1.02. I've placed a visible link on my wiki though! Hah! Actually it shouldn't be patched to 1.04 if you have the original CD then.

You should give it a try! I'll gladly take part in your readjustment and train with you, if you like. Note though that the European scene is.. well, dominant, seeing that you're from the US. American players usually come to European servers. Yeah, there's nothing to do about that, but I'm doing what I can for my community and trying to target people who would like this approach to sword fighting, as well as redirect them to (what I believe to be) the remains of the JK2 community.

Hello. With the Star Wars games all over Humble Bundle, I've gone through with one of my ambitions and started a series of videos, meant to showcase the innovative combat system in JK2 1.02, and to teach it both to beginners and veterans of the game. I have the introduction, and am already working on the next video. Along with this series, I'm also in the progress of organizing a wikia which will complement the following videos. http://jk2saberguide.wikia.com/ (very lacking in content at the moment). I'll probably get around to getting it into JKHub's wiki when it's on its feet! Hopefully this will also eventually shed some light on why on earth someone would stay in 1.02, and why it's not actually a downgrade, but a completely different game altogether than JK2 1.04 and Jedi Academy. Hey I'm not sure how it's done from 1.03 to 1.02 - but here's a tool to switch between 1.04 and 1.02. http://jk2saberguide.wikia.com/wiki/Downgrading_to_1.02_and_switching_between_versions In any case you should be able to downgrade by copying the files in the 1.02 folder here, and putting them in your game GameData folder - as well as making sure you don't have an assets2.pk3 and assets5.pk3 in your base folder. Why don't you visit us in 1.02 while you're at it? I'm currently working on promoting the game's saber combat, so the page I just linked you is very newborn and otherwise lacking in content. As for making movies in Jedi Outcast, I really recommend ent's joMME which ent posted above me. It has great features such as rewinding, and an integrated capture feature which produces flawless results in any resolution!

That could explain it, but there are not any more servers still. @, afraid it didn't help to restart it. I'd say at least 50-ish% of the servers are still missing, if I recall somewhat correctly.

Hmm anyone knows exactly what action was taken with the JK2 masterserver? There's a big bunch of servers missing, including my own.

Ahh. Seems like it's up again now. I was using a temporary fix that worked for the masterserver before, but seems like the tables turned without me noticing. But yeah, strange, only 1/10-ish of all the servers are there... no CTF ones even, which are usually quite well-packed.

They still haven't fixed the JK2 masterserver though. There won't be much of a boost without a serverlist...

So I don't suppose it would be possible to use an animated GLM (or anything) in a case where there is no MP npc system, nor any icarus scripting (like JK2)?

I think you have to run it with custom parameters... Right click > Properties > Set launch options > +set fs_game "nameOfMod"

What kind of things are you doing to the brushes before they become corrupt? Funnily enough, I often had this error moving vertices around, but in 1.6, and not in 1.5. Suppose you haven't rotated any brushes? I often had to spam the bobtoolz cleanup button for it to do.. more things. Leaking errors sometimes happen when a model's pivot point sticks through the ground, I think, although if you sealed it afterwards and still the same, I don't know if that applies anymore...

Hmm, really not sure then, if he tried the same exact version as I did. One thing worth noting was that the supplementary mods didn't seem to kick in before I extracted them from the ICE_TEST.pk3 and put them in my base. Not sure why exactly.

I seem to remember using cg_thirdpersoncameradamp 0 + cg_thirdpersonhorzoffset x would result in that spinning effect, at least in JK2.

Could be fun to re-make the N64 maps, only switch out the Goombas with stormtroopers, and for example put Desann on the top of the hill I'll let you pet him first, if I get him in game!

@@minilogoguy18 or @@mrwonko This is how the skeleton looks when I import the glm (in 2.64 and 2.72). Is this correct, or could something be wrong? Some of those bones look a tad short, like there's only a hint at the direction they're going.

Wonder what will become of this... Perhaps an NPC. Admittedely I've always wanted to play as Yoshi, but afraid he would look silly in human proportions. But perhaps not so stupid? I'm just around 700 verts yet, so I'm aiming for some more detail in the hands, and of course the saddle on his back. With that said, he would almost be perfect for the Tauntaun skeleton... Yes... perhaps a Yoshi vehicle?
