If it's possible with Resident Evil and Final Fantasy, it should work with other games as well, such as Dark Forces 2. It would be interesting to see something like that for Jedi Academy or Jedi Outcast.

and go to Download Trial. But be warned, the quality may not be perfect on any picture. In this case, depending on the settings, you may get a decent upscale, but not something that would remotely resemble an image that was taken with a professional camera.

I did, and it's pretty good. Not perfect, but still amazing what it can get out of photos. I even upscaled some textures. Unfortunately, Jedi Academy crashed whenever I tried to test the upscaled textures.

All you have to do is fill in every field marked with an *, except Game* (Jedi Academy is already selected). Once your mod is submitted, it will be displayed in the mod section of Jedi Academy. That way, people who are looking for mods can see it. For the release date, make sure to select "TBD". Anything else would be misleading.

The community is still active. There are still many mods for many different games in development, and Jedi Academy is among them. Just give it a try. That way, more people can see your mod.

Once you've created a page for your mod, you should clearly state what your mod needs. In other words, try to recruit people by asking for help.

If you can't find anybody here to help you, try somewhere else, like https://www.moddb.com/. Presentation is the key. Just create a new ModDB page for your mod and add a description of what it is about. And add images of what you've done so far. If you really need help, just mention it in the mod's description. There are many people on ModDB each day, and maybe you'll find at least one who can help you.

While porting a whole model is not good, I think it comes in handy when you only use some parts. But I still prefer to see a custom model made from start to finish. I enjoy watching the progress.

The only thing you can do to counter the porting trend is to create your own models and share them on this site. Show them that there are still modelers here who care for their projects.

The only thing worse than porting itself are requests, or demands, for ports. These come from users that are just some months into Jedi Academy and think they know better. Once they see a great looking model from a modern game, they want it immediately, with no questions asked. But once you show them an custom made alternative that goes better with Jedi Academy, they find the models either ugly or "lame". It's so stupid.

There is a Jyn Erso model and it's not on JKHub? Man, I hate Movie Battles.

Impressive. It would be great to have a lot more improved assets for Jedi Outcast, just like Jedi Knight Enhanced (the Dark Forces 2 mod).

Yes, Jedi Outcast was and still is fun to play. But today, it's difficult for me to play this game unmodded. At least the improved Stormtrooper needs to be included.
