Darth Maul's using the same kind of cloak as Savage, I think. But I know it's not the same from Episode I.

@@eezstreet Maul's cowl covers most of his body and seems like it's made of something different, where as Savage's seems more like a mix of Luke's and Sidious's.

I don't want easy reskins with skin color changing, though. What I'm requesting is the real deal. He simply needs a new model. Plus, Savage uses different robes than Maul's cowl in Episode I.

Hey, everybody. I haven't requested this for a while and to tell the truth, it really has been festering like crazy so I couldn't hold off from requesting it any longer. What I'm requesting here is a character that was mentioned as half a clan pair in the Darth Plagueis novel, and who was later developed in The Clone Wars. Passion is his root. His name is Savage Opress, legacy of Kycina, brother and apprentice of Darth Maul, felled by the one and only Darth Sidious. And he was likely to be the next coming of Darth Revan or Darth Malgus, were he fully trained. I know some of you might misperceive this as a request for the ThunderBirds-animated style of Savage Opress from The Clone Wars TV series, but I would actually like to see a realistic take that some people might actually find a lot more appealing. Something more badass, as it were. And luckily, I have one link full of beautiful references. Seriously, an incarnation like this is a rarity. It was done beautifully and I think it would be really awesome to see in JKA, especially for people like me. I have a lot of friends who've been wanting this to happen for a while now. So you might ask: What's wrong with the ported model? It's still stuck with the ThunderBirds animation style that lacks a real feel to it. It sucks because I can't even stick it in the same category with DT85's Darth Maul at this point, and they're brothers.The textures are pretty shoddy and low-res as far as I can tell, and even if they were realistic, I'm not sure they would function very well with the model.There are a few bothersome bugs with the model. For instance, a patch of skin next to the eyes weirdly goes black and textureless. Also, the eyes clip through the face in a weird way.The teeth textures are... ugh.The kilt insignia somehow turned into a horribly wrong mess.Those are just off the top of my head. Now let's move onto specifying what I would also like to see added to such a model: One or two horns were cut on his head during his battle with Obi-Wan and Anakin, and that would be generous to add.In the comics, Savage Opress seemed to have a black cloak that is somewhat like Luke's in ROTJ. I'd love to see robed variants.Later on in the series, Savage's left arm was severed from his body by Obi-Wan. When he was retrieved with Maul by the Death Watch, he got a new badass-looking prosthetic arm and I'd like to see that added to the model as well, rather than just two regular arms. Can be kind of boring.It would be cool, in my opinion, if he had black fingernails. More preferable.You can find the references for the horns, cloak, and prosthetic arm below, so bonus points! This model is all I'm really gonna want from JKHub for years... and years... and, years... Anyway, thank you if you had enough courtesy to hear my message and consider this project. I wouldn't be the only one you'd make very happy, trust me on that. Even DT85 thought this might be pretty cool to see in JKA. Validly horrid reasons... Or not... Yeah. My preservation is at the point of boiling over. It's the reason I haven't posted on JKHub in forever now.

It's just weird to me. How there are some possibly necessary or meaningful projects that people sometimes turn a blind eye to. I'm not insulting anyone, but I expected more interest in this proposition. I mean... for Christ's sake, it's a model improvement. I'm not asking for an amazing Savage Opress pack, or an Ahsoka Tano pack, or some Darth Maul variants, or a new HK-47/51 model. I guess I'm rageranting at this point in a certain sense. Something beneath my surface is eating away at my conscience and I don't know how else to express it. Derp.

Is that gold-orange one a Mandalorian version of Rex? I noticed that same symbol on his helmet. If not, it's creative that the TCW writers may have had Rex's character derived from some Mandalorian.

Yeah. It rhymed more than George's dumb imaginations...

TCW is one of the few things that make the prequels make sense, imo. Sometimes it was a little pointless, but I learned a few things. And it did what Episode I couldn't, it presented emotions. It did what Episode II couldn't, have logic. And it made Episode III that much more meaningful. TCW also gave a glimpse to the dark secrets behind what was inevitably to come. In the movie, I learned what lengths the duty of a democracy could reach. In Season 1, I learned how a spark of hope can defeat even the worst of enemies. In Season 2, I learned how trust can eventually bring peace. In Season 3, I learned how revenge can ruin more lives than intended. In Season 4, I learned about what rage, hot or cold, could accomplish. In Season 5, I learned that it would only be a matter of time before corruption would eventually take over. And in Season 6, I realized the consequences of sacrifice. It was a great journey, and it was a shame to see it end.

Here's something that will kill you, however: Did you know the same guy in that picture wanted Ahsoka to die in Season 5? Not such a beautiful picture anymore. He was trying to pimp her.

If the this thread was dedicated to a flame war earlier, that's just more evidence of the senselessly bad behavior here, and it goes beyond mere criticism. Come on, this is a little much in this case. Can't anyone be a bit more mature about things like this?

I mean, seriously, one of JKH's outlined rules are to not be a jerk. That shouldn't even have to be rule and yet some people don't even follow it. It's a little sad.

Here's an easy way to put it: Don't act like an absolute dick whenever you criticize someone. And don't overreact if you can't handle fair criticism. I've seen both of these problems here and I seriously don't see what the problem is in being tolerant of others, or nice to others. If some people think this is asking too much, then I think that's a little stubborn. Also, I don't see how Cerez is trying to push beliefs on other people or trying to control their thoughts. He's simply sharing his own beliefs and hoping people can try and see the logic of them. Chances are people who feel this way might be overreacting themselves, but I'm not gonna put words in anyone's mouth. I just don't see what's so hard about understanding Cerez's message.
