Yeah, I might try modern. I'm deriving my ideas from the Darth Bane cover, though, so that might be why my mind is telling me to use what font I'm using. But maybe.

Alright, I made a few tweaks here and there that might make the current cover look better. Don't worry Omicron, I haven't disregarded any of your ideas. I would just like an opinion on this as well before pressing on.

Hey, everybody. So, me and DarthDementous--we're both extreme KotOR nerds--were talking and I brought up the idea of writing a new book based on Darth Revan, starting from his advance to save the Republic to his near-death on his flagship. I thought it would be a fun project and a good way to elaborate on what Darth Revan's associations were, what he believed in, what his philosophy was, and what legacies he left behind, and all that. I just decided to whip up a little WIP cover for the story and I was wondering if I could get your opinion on how to make it better.

I was hoping she would wear that kinky costume during her torture scene in Episode IV. No, I'm kidding. I'm not easily attracted to what looks like concept art. O.i

A new Mace Windu might be cool too. I mean, there are some good reskins out there, but something new with his exact body structure and accurate face would be nice. Also, Mace and Anakin are the same height. I'd recommend keeping Mace's head level with Toshi's Anakin head if you consider this. Qui-Gon would be a fun project too.

Anakin vs. Obi-Wan. That is the ultimate battle of endurance and their anger and resolve couldn't have been expressed in any better a way than in their combat.

Wow. Love the texturing, man. The face is a little too narrow. Too pushed in from the sides. And I don't know if it's just me who feels this way, but I don't think his nose curves like that. Should be somewhat tougher. The lips are getting there and the forehead should be mostly right. Be wary of his eye sockets, also. They might be a little smaller but I don't know. Maybe not. You're getting there, Chalk. Closer and closer.

You know what would be cool is a new Phase II Clone Trooper model. I know @@Barricade24 might like it. Just suggesting.

Since @@Circa is the one in charge of the sounds, here's what I advise: 1. Make sure you have TFU 2. Enter the Darth Maul boss fight on Raxus Prime 3. Turn off all sounds except for voice volume 4. Record 5. Convert to MP3 6. Cut the Maul sounds individually so you don't have to wait a minute to hear them (they're most frequent during the ending combat sequence) 7. Make them work with DT's model. I'd do it myself, but I don't have any audio editing software or recording programs that take up 4GB every 30 seconds. But I honestly think it'd be worth it, considering it's a specific portrayal of Maul's voice. And before you jump to conclusions about which era of Maul DT is working on, keep in mind that the Maul from TFU is supposed to resemble TPM Maul. Thanks if you considered my advice. I honestly think it would be worth the effort--but not worth the money TFU costs, assuming you don't have it.

No offense, but I find the sounds to be kind of derpy. Not very Maul-like imo. I advise using TCW sounds or as I mentioned before, relying on TFU. And I'm sure the starwars.com soundboard might have something.

DT85, I'll be honest. I thought you were ignoring my advice and I slightly feel like a jerk now. I'm glad you considered the mouth itch I mentioned and you're doing a really great job. :>

I will never give up, @@therfiles. Never. But I did say that this is good enough a gift as it already is, so... Anyway, yeah. Should definitely close the mouth on the model, not let it remain open even in the slightest. Maul is too professional to do that. O.o

I'm merely concerned about... Okay, I'll stfu because considering what you just did--which was pretty amazing, considering the head looked different when I saw it in ModView--made my heart warm in ways you can't imagine. No, not that way. I do have one concern. I don't like how his mouth is slightly open when he has no facial expression. If you open him in ModView and use the FACE_TALK0 anim, that's how it would look better imo.

You should record some Maul pain sounds from TFU. They're more official. At least, to me, they are. That is supposed to be Maul's voice, so I guess that would be the best source to us.
