I tried that "model r5d2" in console and wont work without a human animations. The modified R2's glm file is 61.7 and the games version is something like 80.

After watching the time lapse videos I must say WOW. I myself never seen modelling in progress like that before and it gives me even more respect for what all goes into the process of making a model.

I know alot of us has played the games, but has anyone listened to the Audio Books based on the story of Kyle Katarn? http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPnJ1oq3EtUcvBkqBpOzSErG1N5re-wDm The three part series starts out when Kyle is at the Academy and moves on to the events of Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2. What is really interesting to find out is the back story of Kyle and how events from the game is different compared to the book. Lando, Luke & Leia are involved in the story some what but have minor roles. People living on the planet where The Valley of the Jedi was located, not to mention the floating alien protectors of the Valley. I think the audio book just gives more to the story which we all pretty much grew up playing. I understand why LucasArts cut out alot of the story and im glad they did. But know older listening to books makes me respect the story even more. So if anyone has read the book/listened to the audio books what is your thoughts on it?

Ok the back story!! So Jeff was so kind to send me some of his unreleased skins for my movies. So he sent me some of his R2 units that are actually player models!! How cool is that!! Well anyways I asked him about the R5 droids and no one ever made them. So what im requesting is someone kind enough to rig up the games R5 unit with a human skeleton so it will be like R2. PS Still love the Cat model hehe

Another thing you might wanna do is make a version with the human skeleton so you can use it as a player model in game.

I dont think it will be, the hard part will be getting the people to film the scenes.

I cant do anything with the facial hair, thats beyond my photo editing skills.

its a reskin of the spanki jedi skin pack. made the hair darker per request. which will have robes aswell.

As some may know me and some may not. My name is Zappa, I started making movies in Jedi Outcast and when Jedi Academy came out I started making movies there. My movies started with The Jedi's Demise and lead into JA: Clone Wars Series. Now im finishing up on Season 2 of JA: Clone Wars with refilming scenes and recasting Voice Actors. Soon I will be starting up two projects which will require Game Actors and Voice Actors. These projects include JA: Clone Wars Season 3 & New series Galactic Empire which is set a short time after Episode 3. Galactic Empire will be about mainly Darth Vader, Palpatine & Tarkin. Hey all, im working on a new skin. I came by the TFU2 Starkiller model and saw the Kamino clothes. I got the bright idea of skinning the face into Jango Fett. But the draw back, I can't make face textures what so ever! So I was wondering if anyone wants to help me with the face texture?

was there anything else interesting there on the site besides the acklay?

just had a random thought, have you considered doing any TFU versions of the walker as it seems it would be pretty easy to add some bigger cannons to the side?

I say yes. As I played the original game the first few levels consisted of fists, byrar pistol, e-11 and thermal dets. what made the game really fun you usually ran out of ammo and had to use fists until you got some ammo. It was real challenging when meeting Gamorreans.

from what ive looked at on that site, it seems to be the same mod thats suppose to come out years ago. It looks like another KOTF to me.

You know with the Acklay being made, im surprised that the Reek and Nexu have never made it to JA. I know some TC/AOTC mods started work on some but never released. I think they would be a great addition to the game as fighting npc's and npc vehicles.
