I don't see how it relates to JKA. There is no money, fame, whatever to be gained from making stuff or playing well, and anyone who is looking for external goods like these would do much better to go and look for them elsewhere.

Tell that to people who still think 10-0 scores are relevant or people who still use maps released what, 2 or even 5+ years ago? I don't think this is in terms of a massive scale but what pertains to JK series as a whole. JA has a community of its own and files that speak specific to community or methods/ways that are about server/clan advertising and so forth. Things on forums don't reflect what is always going on in game.

Well someone call someone up, can't get the door combo to work. I already read the guide for the atlantica one. The JO one uses slider blocks instead of a key combination. The if's in the combination just aren't registering to open the door. Lol I'm just tired of getting not results :X

I checked the video more carefully, and the "phased" moon is actually a different scrolling shader. Who knows... maybe the two can be mixed, to have an actually full-phased moon running through the sky?

Have you even tried to look for tutorials?? Because I found out how to do this from google. I need to tweak this to make it look more perfect but atleast it works and looks like on the video. So maybe you should do some research before shouting "gimme gimme gimme"

I'm not sure I'm doing this the same way as it was done for the map on that video, but this doesn't seem to be so complicated. I will definetly use this in one of my maps.

Whats wrong with the teleporting between areas? I think that helps reduce lag.

Teleporting between areas, when setup with an area portal between the tele lines, doesn't reduce fps drops anymore then area portals between doors. Besides, fps did drop in ex_jedi_temple anyway since there was no area portal between tele points. Also just cause I remap it, doesn't mean you can't still use the original.

I have entered the room. It's just more so backdrop, far as I see it though I don't doubt an RP server ever using it crazy enough. FPS only drops as ramikad stated via the portals. The room itself never displays till the door is not only opened but till you walk into the portal itself. Try it on other maps open a door and stand in the area portal. Those are there to aid in the game rendering different areas and more or less hiding areas till you walk through the portal or the doo...

What hasn't yet been seen, is a map of the sandcrawler from within, or AT-AT from within. Sure they look small in this game but take a look at these two in the movies, they were huge, and even the old nintendo starwars games show the inside of these massive vehicles.
