  1. See here: https://github.com/JKGDevs/JediKnightGalaxies/blob/master/LuaCommands.txt
  2. I operate in Valve Time, apparently.
  3. You can use a shader remap to change the chat bubble, but only if everyone has the shader in question (otherwise they will get a low-res black and white box)
  4. It has to be related to Episode 7 in some way.
  5. You'd need to turn on Allow Downloads in order for that to work.
  6. Remember that you can submit your files for the competition in this thread: http://jkhub.org/topic/6580-submit-your-files-here/?do=findComment&comment=96357

  7. Take a look at how the vast majority of navgoals are used in the game - they are hooked up via scripts which take generic parameters (common/2pointpatrol.IBI). If you're making a patrolling script that isn't too complicated, they're almost certainly already made. I really don't think the range is the distance from one navgoal to another, it's the distance from its starting position to another waypoint. What I mean by this is: you want a waypoint right next to each navgoal. Your setup should then look something like this: [N] -> [W] <--------------------> [W] <- [N] Note that the waypoints point to the navgoal, not to each other. In one direction, this would look like: [N] -> [W] -------------> [N] The link going from the navgoal to the waypoint might (?) be optional, I don't remember. Basically if the white line from the navgoal extends too far in nav show all, then the discovery range is too far and you need to move the waypoint closer. The range from the waypoint shouldn't matter. If you want to get a good example of waypointing, all JK2 maps do waypointing awesomely and you should definitely follow their example. JKA maps seem to be lacking hardcore in just about every important aspect. It's like they had someone play finger-painting with waypoints, it really is that bad.
  8. 1. can indeed be done via weapons.dat editing 2. There's like 10 different mods that do that exact thing, not exactly a new idea.
  9. If you ever need help, poke your head in the #jacoders IRC channel. Everyone there is super helpful.
  10. It's not in a .cfg. It's hardcoded in the jk2spgame.dll.
  11. @@redsaurus' code work for the Jedi Knight Enhanced JA version has saber holstering as well as a ton of other nice features. I don't know where to get it though.
  12. The updated ModView is in the file center. And I wouldn't know off the top of my head which setting would be responsible. Try them all if you have to.
  13. https://www.reddit.com/r/jediknight/comments/3vskqh/massassi_is_shutting_down/cxqfbua In case you weren't awake, Massassi Temple is a huge JK1 (and to a lesser extent, JK2/JKA) modding website. This legitimately saddens me, as it was the first place u learned how to mod the games.
  14. Check the options at the top and in any of the menus. Make sure there's nothing there that is hiding your model. @@Xycaleth has an updated version of ModView. Perhaps you can try that one?
  15. Have you tried lengthening the sleep? Try 5000 or higher.
  16. because he's wrong? You are able to do both of those. I have no idea why you wouldn't be able to. Try it for yourself.
  17. Greetings once again, JKHubians! We have reached our funding goal for this year thanks to your very generous donations. These will be used for creating a new version of the website, which we have dubbed JKHub 2.0. We in fact received a little over our required funding, and will be using that to pay for next year's required donations. Many thanks to you! Some of you were so generous as to donate $100 or more to the cause! But more info on that later, here's the scoop on something you might have seen spring up already in the forum - The Holiday Competition! This year we will be doing things a little bit differently in regards to the holidays. Instead of a holiday event, we will be doing a large modding competition, based on The Force Awakens, which releases on 18 December in the United States (and various other dates in other countries). Our latest poll is also related to the subject. At the end of the competition, there will be a winner, with 2nd place and 3rd place also to claim. Winners will receive the greatest reward of them all...bragging rights! And a cool trophy that I made in MS Paint. Since we started later than usual this year, the competition will extend into the new year! cue the title crawl music... Here's how it will work:Already existing entries (such as DT's Ep7 Stormtrooper) can be entered into the competition, and will be entered into a separate pool from ones which were created solely with the competition in mind. Each pool will be split into 2 smaller pools. Players can vote (via a forum poll) which in each current pool is the best. After the deadline, the votes will be counted up. The winners in each pool will face the winners of other pools! The deadline for submitting content is December 31st 2015.The winners will be determined by January 15th 2016.The polls will have a post count requirement, so as to discourage voter fraud. All content must be made by the submitter. Our usual restrictions on ports still apply.Any content is welcome, including skins, models, maps, weapons, you name it. Just make sure it's up to snuff!Any content submitted to the competition must be in our Downloads section. We will be approving files much faster than normal in order for the files to reach the deadlines. You may submit a file by replying to this post.Good luck to all! 19. Oh, this was for JK2? Sorry, was a bit confused.

Yeah, I'm up. Glad you've noticed. Where's my coffee?

  22. Check out the three pinned tutorials in the Coding section. Those are more than enough to get you started. Once you've got it compiled and you can verify that your code is running, then you can focus on this (which is a pretty simple/trivial thing, in the grand scheme of things)
  23. DT85 is correct.
