  1. How would you do that?

The main difference is just the absence of the cape & goggles.  She's gone with and without in the media.

Basic modding 101. Each model has at least one .skin file to tell the game what images to use for it. Depending on how he sets the model up, certain sections can be turned off so you don't see them. That's how each default Jaden model has multiple heads and outfits as a part of one model. Or how the Obi-Wan Episode III model by HapSlash can have a robe and hood.

  2. I've always had the idea of having a button to toggle between offense/defense "styles" where the defense style would let you autoblock everything except very strong hits that count against a block "pool".  I think it could still take skill because I'd imagine there being a certain amount of time for you to switch bake to defense after making an offensive move, but something like that would need more discussion, testing, etc.  I'm certain that it would be a pain for the last animators/coders we have even if they did develop a system similar to this.

I love this idea but it would take away from the JA and JO experience. That method is how saber combat is is every other Star Wars game, and though it works quite nicely, it's one of the main reasons people like JA: for the unique saber combat.

  3. Should clarify...it makes it look like you need the client on their main page.  Doesn't make it clear you can just use the website to upload small files, have to go digging around to find that out (or make an account first and try it out).  Also: "Each file you upload through the website must be 300 MB or less. For larger files, use the desktop application or mobile app, which don't have this limit."

Very true. Although uploading files that large isn't supported without paying on many file hosting sites. Or around that size anyway.

  4. Oh um, how did you edit for the Wat Tambor voice and get Jaden to say "Jango"? Can you give me the program required? It'd help me a lot on one of my other mods.

I used Audacity to edit it all and WavePad for the effects. For Wat Tambor I just added some flanger and chorus to Rax's voice. For the Jango line I just found 2 words that Jaden says in other scenes and combined them together to make it sound like "Jango".

  5. His tutorial is MP based but if you scroll down to the bottom in the comments he points out that you can use it for SP with some small differences. If you asked he'd probably help but you'd have to meet him half way and make it work decently in MP, I wouldn't expect him to do all the work for you.

It doesn't seem too complicated, but I wouldn't know how to "compile" or whatever. I'm no coder. I'll look into it though.
