Hello everyone. Right now, I'm attempting to change the base/vanilla Cloud Car map_object model into a playermodel. The thing is, the skin/texture isn't showing - it just looks like a missing texture. Does anyone know how I can apply a *.skin file to this thing? As far as I know, this model doesn't have anything I can put a skin onto. I'm honestly not a modeler, if I was, I'd be making a better model, too. Please do help if you can :)

You won't be able to make it playable without having a GLA file so you'll need some sort of modeling software to do that. You'll also need to be able to add tags for the exhaust and weapons.

By that, I mean that I honestly have no clue on how to go about doing anything like that. For starters, I can't even get the @@mrwonko's Ghoul2 Importer/Exporter for Blender to work.

Well there is a tutorial for this that is old but it's written for 3DS Max 5. If you had good knowledge of whatever other software you might want to use you could at least translate it over and use it as a guide but without the knowledge needed you might have a hard time.

Yeah... I don't know the first thing about modeling lol. I have looked up some Blender Tutorials, but that's as far as I ever got. Also, I was debating whether i should put this in Modding Assistance or Mod Requests, as it's sort of both.

Apparently the Cloud Car model was converted by someone named tFighterPilot. I decided to use this vehicle, but I have changed some things, such as the weapons :)
