Tompa9
Hello guys, I am learning how to rig ported model. I´ve created bones for Lando´s model but when I try to parent bones to mesh by CTRL+P like in tutorial, it writes me this error. Could you please help me with that? Link to comment

Tompa9
OK I´ve fixed it thanks could you also tell me how to get this model working in JKA? I must somehow assign it to jka skeleton? Link to comment
mrwonko
There's a manual included with the Jedi Academy Blender plugin suite that explains the requirements you have to satisfy. Link to comment
minilogoguy18
You can't just make your own skeleton when it comes to a player model you want to use in MP, must use the game skeleton. Link to comment
Solution Tompa9 Posted May 5, 2017 Author Solution Share Posted May 5, 2017 Thank you, I´ve realised that Blender tutorial about rigging isn´t for Jedi Academy. So creating my own bone system is pointless Link to comment
Ramikad
Thank you, I´ve realised that Blender tutorial about rigging isn´t for Jedi Academy. So creating my own bone system is pointless Not if you want to use it in SP, or I think as an NPC too. But then you'd have to remake all the animations needed to get it working properly. It's way more feasible in case of animals and vehicles, since they generally require far less animations than humanoids. Link to comment
Tempust85
Any blender tutorial on weighing models will suffice. It will give you most of what you need, there's only a few JKA-specific things you have to do afterwards. Link to comment
