Daft Punk Request

I always thought that two of the Daft Punk robot dudes would most likely belong in Star Wars. I actually think they would look more cooler in Jedi Academy fighting sith lords with their lightsabers. Here's a neat commercial featuring Daft Punk entering in the Mos Eisley Cantina. I wonder what you guys might think about this?

I found a 3D model image of Daft Punk wearing their helmets. Anyone ever interested in Daft Punk's music before?

For me they wouldn't look right in their clothes. It would be awesome if just the heads could be made, and put onto a droid body, the silver head on a silver droid body, and the gold head on a gold droid body, like this:

 

 

But maybe with slightly different design on the body. It would look awesome.

I remember i gave the the same request on the hub Their head seems not to be hard to made. Maybe in the free time i will try but only heads.. I dont like them on the protocol droid body ... maybe impworker or tie pilot.. i will think about it

He looks pretty amazing!!! Especially when he's holding his own blaster! Hope the Gold member would also be made as well.

Well Yes the helmet is very detail. I made this model very quickly but to be honest i wanted to focus on the model itself so i wanted that effect. 

 

 

Question - is it important to follow count of the vertexes in the entire model ? The mode has 2866 verts and 3592 tris count. 

 

In my other models i am always looking on it and pay attention

You should reduce the triangles a lot, there's plenty there you don't need.
