ShenLong Kazama
Well, i'm trying again. I'd like to add a hood down to a model, but i'm completely lost, even after watching tutorials. My Blender isn't really set up either, so i was wondering if it's actually possible to add a new surface to a model with Blender to begin with. Smoo likes this Link to comment

The Punisher
Check this also https://jkhub.org/topic/4905-frankensteining-with-blender/?hl=blender Hooddown is the same as HoodUp. Adding stuff is easy, especially if the models match, otherwise you will need some 3D modeling knowledge which I don't have. Link to comment

ShenLong Kazama
A tutorial on how to set up Blender properly would be great. I can't select anything or use textured view. I only have that crosshair thingy and can't select shit with it. Edit: Nevermind, managed to select it. But i get an error when i try to export the model. Smoo likes this Link to comment

ShenLong Kazama
I have another question though, how can i select parts of the model freely to edit or remove them? Kinda like a pencil? Link to comment

ShenLong Kazama
Another question, probably the last for a while. How can i merge stuff? Like merge hands, fingers and arms so that i can move them to another model without moving every single part. Link to comment

Like merge hands, fingers and arms so that i can move them to another model without moving every single part. I wouldn't recommend merging hands/arms together, but to merge two meshes you select them with SHIFT+click and then press CTRL+J. If memory serves, whatever is the last mesh you selected will be the one whose name/details the merged object adopts. Link to comment
