RingsOfNrutas Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 So there haven been a couple time where I've been out and away from my computer and I wanted to browse the forums. Now of course I could use my phones browser but I think it'd be pretty cool if this website had an app for it. What do you all think? Bek likes this
Circa Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Would be nice I suppose, but complicated. An Android app would be doable, but an iOS app would require a developer account, which requires a subscription, I believe. Overall, I think it would be pointless. The app would do exactly what the website would do, except you'd get push notifications. Once we move to XenForo, JKHub will be much more mobile friendly. All features will be accessible. ensiform Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Circa, get a copy of visual studio 2015 community and use xaramin which will let you make both from c#. I don't know how to get them to the app store though.
Xycaleth Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 You need a developer license to get it in the App Store

Archangel35757 Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 not worth the effort. Just bookmark it in your phone browser.
Sentra Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 It is useless at all. Adaptive version / use Tapatalk plugin on IPB so that it can be viewed through Tapatalk iOS / Android / WinPhone app. This app provides very convenient way to browse different IPB-based forums.
Circa Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Tapatalk creates an ugly ad at the top of the site telling you to download the app though. Not a fan of that. I'd rather have a responsive theme. Soonish, my friends.™ Sentra likes this
