The best force mod of all JA

Well, this is my idea.

Maybe i am madness, a mad alone cannot do.

need an icon for every force power and a complete knowledge of c, c++ and ja code, and months of work.

But if there is a workteam of the more able programmers, that's shoul be one the best mod for JA.

the idea is:

The series of Kotor.

there is not a series of game of Star wars with a so complete vision of use of force for player.

In particular, Kotor 2, that's have pratically all power of the Force knew in the saga.

this is my idea:

the idea is to hack the code for create, for SIngle player (so they act on NPC and can be used by NPC, player and by icarus for every future mod)

and for Multiplayer (tha's can create a WONDERFUL series of mod like JA++ or maybe also a future JA++ upgrade for do the perfect JA gameplay that everyone dream)

well.

are you not boried of the power of the JA?

only 8 for neutral, 4 for light and 4 for darks  + teamheal and teamenergy

my idea is...

Create ALL powers of Kotor 2 game!

I prepared a preliminar list based on a guide of the power of this game for every power, and how should work on jedi academy the equivalent. 

I know, is a MADNESS do a similar work. i think is not many difficult for create on MP following eezstreet tutorial, but for seeting force power effect and sound there anyone tutorial for the new power.

also, for SP ricreate the power can be very difficult. :\

but this can be a nice idea i suppose. i can only image the lot of fun that all ja players of the world can have with a similar... power. :D

That’s the list of all powers of Kotor 2. are more that kotor 1 and i think is the more complete game about use of the Force.

I edited some field so can do an idea about damage and functions.

What do you think about that? I think that a Kotor force mod for JA can becone famous in all the web! :D

Learned from Handmaiden and allows Jedi to add their wisdom to their defense.

This power is always active.

<- Really not need: force speed 3 + sight 3 is a preognition, yu know: avoid tenloss sniper shot.

1 FP_PROTECT

Force Aura

Requirements: Level 1

Adds +10 to defence and Saving Throws and lasts 20 seconds.

 

Force Shield

Requirements: Level 6

Adds +20 to defense and Saving Throws and lasts 20 seconds.

 

Force Armor

Requirements: Level 12

Adds +30 to defense and Saving Throws and also lasts 20 seconds.

 Well this is the force protect. Not problem.

 

 

1 FP_PROTECT

Force Barrier

Requirements: Level 1

Absorbs 15 points of: Bludgeoning, Piercing and Slashing Damage. After 15

points, damage is dealt normally. This lasts 30 seconds.

 

Improved Force Barrier

Requirements: Level 9

This is the same as before but absorbs 30 points of damage and lasts 45

seconds.

 

Master Force Barrier

Requirements: Level 15

Same as before but absorbs 60 points of damage and lasts 1 minute.

 

Same, force protect. No need alteration

2 Force Enlightenment

Requirements: Level 1, Dantooine, Light Side

Gained on your second visit to Dantooine as a light side Jedi. This power

activates highest level of Speed, Armor and Valor

powers (assuming you already know these powers).

Mmm, i suppose a power like thaty can activate is like use protect + absorb at same time, cool. O.o

3 Force Valor FP_VALOR

Requirements: Level 1

This power gives +2 to all attributes and saving throws, affects everyone in

your party and lasts 20 seconds.

 

Knight Valor

Requirements: Level 9

Same as before but gives +3 instead of +2 and also makes party immune to

poison.

 

Master Valor

Requirements: Level 15

Same as before but gives +5 instead of +3.

 

Well this can be done by doing an energyze team \ energyze NPC, hacked + some protect and absorb protection. Neutralize Tthe FP_POISON

4 and 5: una is the classic force heal,

the second is the FP_TEAMHEAL for MP and FP_NPCHEAL for SP.

Requirements: Level 6

Heals all party members within range and heals 5 + 1 point for charisma,

wisdom and character level.

 

Improved Heal

Requirements: Level 12

Same as before but heals 10 +1 point for charisma,

wisdom and character level.

 

Master Heal

Requirements: Level 18

Same as before but heals 15 +1 point for charisma,

wisdom and character level.

6 FP_BATTLE

It’s like a force rage upgrade for BOT , Multiplayer\ NPC, but without invincibilidy and health decrease.

Inspire Followers 1

Requirements: Level 1, Jedi Master

Give +1 to hit, damage and will saves and affects all party members and

lasts for 45 seconds.

 

Inspire Followers 2

Requirements: Level 5 Jedi Master

Same as before but gives +2 to hit, damage and will saves.

 

Inspire Followers 3

Requirements: Level 9 Jedi Master

Same as before but gives +3 to hit, damage and will saves.

7 FP_REVITALIZE

Revitalize

Requirements: Level 9

Brings closest party member to life and will have 5% of their max vitality

points and does not affect droids.

 

Improved Revitalize

Requirements: Level 15

Same as before but brings all allies back to life, instead of one.

 

Master Revitalize

Requirements: Level 21

Same as before but revived character should have 10% of their vitality points.

 

This power can raise by dead a NPC or bot, or a teammate of multiplayer, if casted in a short count of time.

(few seconds, no more)

FP_STASIS:

Stun or block enemy , NPC, of bot. in first case he cannot move like in a grip level 1, in second case freeze animation and movement, in third case, freeze nearest enemies.

 

Stun

Requirements: Level 1

This power stuns and opponent for 9 seconds. If they save they are slowed for

9 seconds.

 

Stasis

Requirements: Level 9

Same as before but stuns and slows or 12 seconds.

 

Stasis Field

requirements: Level 12

Same as before but has a 10 meter radius effect from the target opponent.

Requirements: Level 1

Stuns droid for 12 seconds inflicting some damage.

 

Disable Droid

Requirements: Level 6

Same as before but also has a 5 meter radius around the target droid.

 

Destroy Droid

Requirements: Level 12

Same as before but has a 6 meter radius and 1-6 points of damage per

characters level.

                                Universal Powers

Universal powers include both defensive and offensive powers. Powers like

Affect Mind and breath control are very useful, but for more offensive powers,

powers like Force Push or Mind Trick are very useful.

9: FP_POSSESSIOn

like mindtrick level 4 is possible to posses an enemy. (Working only on NOT Jedi classes)

 

Affect Mind

Requirements: Level 8

This power give the main character extra dialogues in conversations and does

not always work.

 

Dominate Mind

Requirements: Level 12

Same as before but has more dialogue options and higher chance of success.

10 FP_MEDITATION

a rage version with not health decrease, but health regeneration and NOT invincibility.

Battle Meditation

Requirements: Level 6

Adds +2 to attack damage and will saves and speeds up health regeneration

and affects all party members. This power lasts 20 seconds.

 

Improved Battle Meditation

Requirements: Level 12

Same as before but any enemy that fails a will saving throw suffers -4 to

attack, damage and will saves

 

Master Battle Meditation

Same as before but adds +4 to attack, damage and will saves and speeds up

health regeneration.

10 FP_BEASTRICK

yu can possess the droids, the jedi classes and the monster like rancor, wampa, etc.

Yu cannot jump, just control the movement.

 

 

Beast Trick

Requirements: Kreia

This power is learned on Dxun by Kreia and only affects beasts. This power

distracts the animal but become undistracted if the player gets to close or

interacts with the beast. If used in stealth mode, this power won't take you

out of stealth mode.

 

Beast Confusion

Requirements: Level 12

Beast attacks enemies for the character and won't become undistracted if

player gets to close. If used in stealth mode, this power won't take you

out of stealth mode.

11 FP_BREATH: nullify FP_POISON

Breath Control

Requirements: Kreia

This power give immunity to poisons at the cost of force points. You learn

this on Nar Shadda.

12 FP_SPEED: force speed, already in game, not need.

Burst Of Speed

Requirements: Level 1

The characters speed is doubled. This power lasts 36 seconds.

 

Knights Speed

Requirements: Level 9

Characters Speed is doubled and gets an extra attack per round. This power

also lasts 36 seconds.

 

Master Speed

Requirements: Level 15

Same as before but character gains two extra attacks per round.

Energy Resistance

Requirements: Level 1

This power absorbs 10 points of, Cold, electrical, energy, fire and sonic.

After 10 points, damage is dealt normally and lasts 120 seconds.

 

Improved Energy resistance

Requirements: Level 9

Same as before but absorbs 15 points of damage.

 

Master Energy Resistance

Requirements: Level 17

Same as before but absorbs 20 points of damage.

13 FP_BODY can be interessing, split maybe can fill with a power like force rage the force bar and the armor with subctracting health? And get some invincibility time O.o

 

Force Body

Requirements: Level 1

Force Powers cost is split 50/50 between health and force points and lasts 30

seconds.

 

Improved Force Body

Requirements: Level 9

40% of force powers cost comes from Force points and costs 20% less than

normal. 40 more percent comes from health points.

 

Master Force Body

Requirements: Level 15

30% of force powers cost comes from Force points and costs 40% less than

normal. 30 more percent comes from health points.

14 FP_MASK

Make invisiblre to NPC bot eytc eyc, is the mind trick level 1 – 2, the different is that level 3 not fight enemy each other but can be invisible to all enieies in the area.

 

Force Camouflage

Requirements: Level 1 Sith assassin or Jedi Watchman

Allows character to be in Stealth mode without the use of a stealth field

generator.

 

Improved Force Camouflage

Requirements: Level 7 Sith Assassin or Jedi Watchman

Same as before but adds +4 to stealth.

 

Master Force Camouflage

Requirements: Level 13 Sith Assassin or Jedi Watchman

Same as before but adds +8 to stealth.

15: FP_DEFLECT

a defence power very interessing:

deflecting blaster and energy shotr (not flechette, concussion and rocket and thermal or explosive)

with the hands, can be used in a fight with weapons for defending without a saber!  :D

 

Force Deflection

Requirements: Level 6

Allows Jedi to deflect blaster bolts without a lightsaber but character

cannot deflect bolts back at enemy but is always in effect.

 

Force Redirection

Requirements: Level 12

Same as before but character can deflect bolts back at enemy.

FP_16 FP_PUSH

Difference: at level 4 FP_PUSH push all enemy around, also the back enemies.

Force Push

Requirements: Level 1

The enemy moves back 5 meters and gets stunned and suffers damage equal to

the attacker's level.

 

17 FP_WHIRL

enemy be blocked and rotaate on heself! LOOL

 

Force Whirlwind

Requirements: Level 9

Enemy takes 1/3 of the attacking characters level in damage every 2 seconds

for 12 seconds. When the target is caught in the whirlwind, he cannot perform

any actions.

 

18 FP_PULL

at level 4 abtract all enemy around, also the back enemies.

 

Force Wave

requirements: Level 15

All enemies within 15 meters are pushed back 5 meters and are stunned for 6

seconds and suffer damage one and a half time the attacker's level.

Force Sight

Requirements: Level 3, Visas

Learned from Visas and allows character to see the alignment of NPC.

A power that forced NPC to fight each other like mind trick of level 3... but start to do that by level 1

Mind Trick

Requirements: Level 1

This power can distract a target but will become undistracted if character

gets to close or interacts with the target. This power lasts 30 seconds. If

used in stealth mode, this power won't take you out of stealth mode.

 

Force Confusion

Requirements: Level 12

This power will make the target fight for the player and lasts 30 seconds.

22 FP_SABERTHROW

well, is egual,no alterartion.

Throw Lightsaber

Requirements: Level 1 and a lightsaber

Target must not be within close range of character and light saber always

comes back. Only attacks one enemy.

 

Advanced Throw Lightsaber

Requirements: Level 9 and a lightsaber

When the lightsaber is throw it hits up to three enemies. Enemies must not be

close range.

                              Dark Side Powers

Dark Side powers are used for harming others and focus on destruction. Powers

like shock or Insanity are very useful in the middle of a fight. The Light Side

Users don't know what they're missing.

all enemies in the area suffer a dmg of a value of health there is proportional to level of power.

24 FP_DRAIN

Like force drain, 2 alteration.

level 4 drain force of all enemy around, also the back enemy.

Drain Life

Requirements: Level 9

This power lets the character hurt others to heal himself. The enemy is done

1-4 per level of character and the character is healed the amount of damage

done.

 

Death Field

Requirements: Level 18

Same as before but targets all enemies within 10 meters of the character.

25 FP_FORCEDRAIN

The power is like drain but drain the Force bar, not the health bar, for regenarte force of avversary.

Drain Force

Requirements: Level 1

Draws 10 Force points from enemy. If saved they only lose 5.

 

Improved Drain Force

Requirements: Level 9

Draws 20 Force points from enemy. If saved they only lose 10.

 

Master Drain Force

Requirements: Level 15

Allows character to steal Force Points from all hostile creatures within 10

meters of the target. It draws 30 points from each opponent but if they save

the only lose 15.

25 FP_FEAR

this is a in interessino power.: in MP enemy shotted if not cast FP_VALOR can do the BOTH_COWER1 animation and no fight for a few second.

In SP can happen the samething to NPC. At level 2 enemy drop the weapon and at level 3 enemy escape in BS_FLEE modality XD

 

Fear

Requirements: Level 1

Enemy is scared for 6 seconds and take -4 to defense.

 

Horror

Requirements: Level 6

All enemies within a 5 meter radius of the target is affected and scared for

12 seconds and take -4 to their defense.

 

Insanity

Requirements: Level 12

Same as before but all enemies within a ten meter radius is affected.

26 FP_SCREAM

well, is like the jedi become an Howler.

All nemies in the ranged be stopped of their attack and do the BOTH_SONICPAIN animation XD.

At level 1. at other level, they also lose health in gradual mode. However is possible to move , so is possiblre to get out of range of sonic wave \ suffering area.

 

Force Scream

Requirements: Level 1

Hurts all enemies within 10 meters in from of the character and deals 3-18

points of damage.

 

Improved Force Scream

Requirements: Level 9

Same as before but does 5-30 points of damage.

 

Master Force Scream

Requirements: Level 15

Same as before but does 7-42 points of damage.

Fury

Requirements: Level 1 Sith Marauder

In Fury character gains some temporary level ups to some of thier attribtutes.

 

Improved Fury

Requirements: Level 5 Sith Marauder

Master Fury

Requirements: Level 9 Sith Marauder

Improved Fury character gains even higher level ups to some of their

Shock

Lightning

Requirements: Level 9

All enemies 16 meters in front of the caster get hurt by 1-6 per characters

level.

 

Force Storm

Requirements: Level 18

Enemies within 10 meters of the target gets hurts 1-6 per characters level.

Also damages the targets Force Points equal to the damage to their health.

FP_LIGHTNING2: this power is like the lightning buyt is more nasty: ignore the armor and hit directly the health. Can kill very fast.

30 FP_POISON:

the effect is like the interrogator droid puncures of poison.

At better level is possible to poison multipole NPC \ players.

FP_VALOR can save by poison.

 

Slow

Requirements: Level 1

Enemy is slowed for 30 seconds, the effects are -2 to defense, reflexes and

attack rolls.

 

Affliction

Requirements: Level 6

Enemy suffers from this power as if it where poisoned and has -7 to all

physical attributes. This lasts for 21 seconds.

 

Plague

Requirements: Level 12

Same as before but takes -12 to all physical attributes and is impossible to

save.

31  FP_GRIP

well is lthe force grip but... should be beaity if the jedi can move by first level (but not fight)

 

 

Wound

Requirements: Level 1

Enemy is chocked for 6 seconds and takes 2/3 of the characters level every two

seconds.

 

Choke

Requirements: Level 9

Same as before but suffers ability drain for 24 seconds. Enemy takes 2/3 of

the attacking characters level every two seconds in damage.

 

32 FP_KILL

the more devastating power: is like a multiple force grip of all enemies in the area. The caster can move and combat during the casting. All other cannot move.

For nullify: FP_VALOR, FP_PUSH,

 

 

Kill

Requirements: Level 12

Enemy is chocked for 6 seconds and are damaged equal to half their maximum

health points.

 

 

Ok i launched the Idea..., pity i not know how to encode. ._,

If someone can do that... well, i hope this idea can birth some mod project on the big scale, cool as JA++.

I will can help for sound and efx, but for coding i am not good for C++ sorry. :\ my skill is only about icarus, mapping, NPC making, Saber making.. well, every thing but not the code. :\

ah, i little add:

FP_VALOR can be used not only for get a lot of protection for teammate of NPC, bot or multiplayer, but for Nullify all effect of aggressive force power as FP_STASIS, FP_POISON, FP_FEAR and all effect that not do damage directly like grip, drain or lightning,

(not defende by the old powers. defend by the new dark powers, is like an force absorb that can be casted on SP on the player and the teammate and in Multiplayer on the own team. )

but do affection of alteration of the behavour of the NPC \ players \ BOT.

FP_BREAK, instead, can be used for BREAK the power of ALL protective power of light side, incluse FP_VALOR, FP_BATTLE, FP_PROTECT, FP_ABSORB and FP_RAGE

 

Do you like the idea? Can yu image what can become JA with all that's powers? O.o

For expose my idea i pass and old guide of Kotor 2 power and i get a description, maybe is not much clear.

Do you want i edit the table in a more comprensible way? Off course JA has not the level like an RPG as Kotor.

i need again to think some description for the rank 1-2-3-4 of every power. for that's are open suggestion.

In every case, i am not a much good coder, i am ending a project a moment, whren i start the code, i can release for SP the basic modification of the code for add the force power slot in enumaration, but for programming the power and effect really need other helps.

i am a rookie in C++ and i am not a programmer. :\ for this i ask help to others for that idea. at moment is just an idea, i wanna see if people wanna enjoy it: a more various and immersive way to use the Force, with all power of the force, and not only the precached power of the game.

that's is the idea.

Before I go into that how about cleaning up your list and making it JA friendly? Things like 'saving throws' are not in JA. Nor are levels or ranks besides the 3*'s you can get.

 

I did my best.

Here is it.

Do you like the idea? i am disaster or coding and at moment i am busy in a work about a my book of science fiction (i am a writer on the real life) and on my mod. so there is some coder team that can do that... obvious, need a laaarge amount of time. is only a my follish and madness idea for make JA more complete with fhe Force use.

Requirements: FP_SEE LEVEL 3 + FP_SPEED 3

Allow to avoid attacks.

Rank 1 : using this force power is possible to avoid the tenloss disruptor fshot for player x 10 second. Cannot move

Rank 2: using the power is possible to avoid dodging like tenloss dodge, every kind of energy weapons for 10 second. Can move but no fight

Rank 3: using the power is possible to avoid the FLECHETTE \ CONCUSSION \ ROCKET \ EXPLOSIVE WEAPONS \ HEAVY WEAPONS for 10 seconds. Also, can be avoid the saber throw with an amazing dodge. Can move and fight.

This power cannot use for dodge or avoid the saber in a saber combat.

Efx: like the force speed blur effect.

1 FP_PROTECT

Rank 1 : protect by all physical dmg of weapon and saber. 25% defense

Rank 2: 50% defense

Rank 3: 75% Defense

Efx: on casting, a particellar effect like the force barrier of Kotor with 2 light circle square that embrace the body by top and bottom. On duraction a blue aura instead of the green aura (is a better idea of a shield)

 

2 FP_ABSORB:

like the original game. No modification. Can absorb dmg of grip, lightning, drain.

3 Force Valor FP_VALOR

This power working like a modified team energyze power.

Rank 1: for ten second playter and teammeat in an area of 2 meters are immunity to the dark side aggressive power of rank 1.

Rank 2: for 15 second in an area of 5 meters teammates are immunity to the dark side power, rank 2.

Rank 3: 20 second of immunity against dark side power of level 3 for player and teammate.

Efx: parrticellar, a sparkly link flesh on the head of characters.

This power NOT protect by the Lightning, drain and grip.

This power protect by possession, stasis, poison, kill, sonic and all other power that get an alteration to the status e \ o behaviour of character.

4 FP_HEAL

the classical heal of force.

5 FP_HEALFORCE

the classical heal of force, but have the effect of recharge the forcebar , not the life. The effect is egual of Heal force, but with a different efx file.

Rank 1: the power add 25 FP to the force bar instead of 100, 125

Rank 2: player has 150 FP

Rank 3: player has 200 FP

The power can used only a time for minutes.

6 FP_TEAMHEAL

is exactly about teamheal.

The difference is:

The power is usalbe also on SP on the teammate NPC. (you can heal chewbecca and kyle katarn and the jedi of korriban battle)

7 FP_BATTLE

It’s like a force rage upgrade for BOT , Multiplayer\ NPC, but without invincibilidy and health decrease.

RANK1 : the forge rage equivalent bonus attack speed and dmg of rank 1. No invincibility, no health decrease.

25% of resistance on the saber hit. Duraction 10 second.

RANK2: lilke force rage speed + attack rank 2. no invinbility, no health duraction 15 sec.

50% of resistance on the saber hit. The closest Enemy lose 5% of speed and dmg on their atrtack

RANK 3: likle force rage speed and attack of level 3. no invincibility no health. The 3 closest Eniemies lose 25% of speed and dmg in theyr attack. Duraction 20 seconds. 

EFX: a green particellar aura efx around the body in the casting, a red aura efx around body of eniemies on the castle. This power is the terrific Bastila battle meditation .

8 FP_REVITALIZE

This power can raise by dead a NPC or bot, or a teammate of multiplayer, if casted in a short count of time.

(few seconds, no more, is useful in korriban battle for raise the dead NPC jedi or in mp in the team games likeTeam FFA, siege, etc )

Rank 1: Brings closest party member to life and will have 10  Hp.

Cost: 25 FP.

Improved Revitalize

Rank 2

Same as before but brings 2 closest allies rianimated with life with 15 Hp.

Cost 50 FP

Rank 3

3 allies can be resurrected and gain 20 HP

9 FP_STASIS:

Stun or block enemy , NPC, of bot.

RANK1: enemy go to ground and get the roshpain animartion for 5 second, cannot move.  Jedi class are immunes.

RANK2 : enemy get freezed and locked movement and animation for 10 second. Jedi class are not ffeezed, they simply slow they movement by 20%

RANK 3: the 3 closest enemies be freezed for 15 second. Jedi class cannot be freezed. They slow they movemenet of 50%

a rage version with not health decrease, but health regeneration and NOT invincibility.

Rank 1: slow health regeneararion 1 hp \ sec . Increase dmg of weapon of player and teammate on few meters by 10%. Increase by 1 the npc value of aim, move, intelligence, evasion, aggression. 10 sec of duration

Rank 2: medium health regeneararion 2 hp \ sec. . Increase dmg of weapon of player and teammate on few meters by 15%. Increase by 2 the npc value of aim, move, intelligence, evasion, aggression. 15 sec of duration.

Rank 3: fast health regeneararion. 3 hp \ sec. Increase dmg of weapon of player and teammate on few meters by 20%. Increase by 3 the npc value of aim, move, intelligence, evasion, aggression. 20 sec of duration

Effect: a red aura glow the weapons. An efx like force rage cover the body.

A mindtrick that can control or disarm the droid class in the battle!

Rank 1: the droid no combat for few second.

Rank 2: the droid no combat for ten seconds.

Rank 3: a droid pass to teamplayer and fight for player. 15 second of loyalty XD

Efx: like a little shock forfce lightning against the droid.

nullify FP_POISON

Rank 1: nullify FP_POISON rank 1 , slow the poison of rank 2. 5 second of duraciton

Rank 2: nullify FP_POISON rank 2 slow the poison of rank 3. 10 second of duraction, immunity against NOGHRI STICK .

Rank 3: Nullify FP_POISON rank 3  immunity to trigger hurts 20 seconds immunity against acid rain.

Efx: a globular blue sphere around body of player. Like kotor 2 nar shaddaa breath control.

15 FP_BODY

The Force is your armor.

The dmg of weapons hit the force bar, not the health bar. This give you some moment of invibility.

Rank 1: 5 second of tecnical invincibilty. The force bar lose 30 FP for hit.

Rank 2: 10 second of protection. The force bar lose 20 FP for hit.

Ranlk 3: 15 second of protection: the force bar lose 25 FP for hit.

Is not consigliable using force power. ;) if force bar reach zero, player can be hitted and killed.

Efx: a cyan aura around the body, like color of PROTECT + ABSORB together.

16 FP_MASK

Make invisiblre to NPC bot eytc eyc, is the mind trick level 1 – 2, the different is that level 3 not fight enemy each other but can be invisible to all enemies in the area.

Rank1: an enemy cannot see for 5 second. Only shooter classes

Rank2 closest enemy behind not see for 10 seconds.  Shooter and monsters.

Rank 3: 15 seconds of invisibility, affect in all enemies on the area except boss classes and class lizard fish glider flier2 claw. 

When using this trick there is the mindeffect efx over the eyes of enemies and the body of player is like the body of saboteurs with the cloaking. The cloak has a purple aura color given by the Force. Is a camouflage of the Force.

17: FP_DEFLECT

A new defense power.

This power allow players and NPCs, bot etc to deflect like having a saber the enemy projectiles, but... with the hands! Is like the darth vader parry of the han solo blaster. O.o

Efx: appear like a strange force push that slam the shot efx.

Rank 1: erractic deflecting blaster and energy shot of blasters and metallic bolt weapons.

Rank 2: good deflecting of shoots.

Rank 3: enemies projectile are deflected on the shoooter and can dmg him.

NOT work against a sword or a saber, lol, is little... extreme not? :P

Rank 1: llike old force push level 1 

Rank 2: strong pushing like old force push level 2

Rank 3: a push slam of fthe enemy behind player like push level 3: modification: if yu use a saber, having force push level 3 and make a stabbing is possible product a foirce wave that slam all enemis around player. same with katas. Like a circular force push 3.

enemy can blocked, leave on air and twist and rotate around himself lol!

Rank 1: rotation for 5 second trapped 1 enemy. Player can move, but not attack.

Rank 3: player can move and attack. Trapped behind enemies for 15 second, enemies lose a good ampunt of health. 

Effect: a efx vortex of wind around the enemy and push shadering.

Is amodification of FP_MINDTRICK.

Rank 1: effects on shooter class. Conditional mind of 1 enemy. Duraction 10 seconds-

Rank 2: conditional mind of the enemy behind player.  duraction 15 second. Affected shooter and monsters class

Rank 3 : 20 seconds. All enemy around player fight each others. XD  affect shooter, monster and jedi class.

Efx: a evil and scarry red aura spand on the head of conditioned enemy... or around the area.

this is a in interessino power.: in MP enemy shotted if not cast FP_VALOR can do the BOTH_COWER1 animation and no fight for a few second.

In SP can happen the samething to NPC. At level 2 enemy drop the weapon and at level 3 enemy escape in BS_FLEE modality XD  no work on droid and boss classes.

Rank 1: function with shooter classes. Enemy do animation COWER1 for 5 second. Not attack, not move.  

Rank 2: function with shooter and monsters. Enemy do animation COWER1 for 10 seconds. Not attack not move.

Rank 3: Shooter and monster can flee and escape and no attacking with panic! Jedi classes making COWER1 animation, no mover no attack. Can be very funny see a cultist with a panic attack LOL The effect duraction is of 15 seconds.

FP_VALOR for neutralize this effect.

Efx: a particellar violet and dark shader aroun the victim.

27 FP_SCREAM

well, is like the jedi become an Howler. O.o

All nemies in the ranged be stopped of their attack and do the BOTH_SONICPAIN animation XD.

At level 1. at other level, they also lose health in gradual mode. However is possible to move , so is possiblre to get out of range of sonic wave \ suffering area. Not affecting on the droid.

Rank 1: jedi scream for 5 second, sonic shockwave depart by body and investing enemy in near area, enemy can escape, and move, and not lose health. Do the sonic pain animation. Jedi cannot move or attack, too.

Rank 2: Jedi screeam for 5 second, but effect is during 10 second. Enemy cannot move and attack and get the both_sonicpain1 animation, jedi class affected as rank 1. the jedi have 5 second for attack enemy weakend or stunned by the sound.

Rank 3: Jedi scream for 5 second but effect during 15 second. Enemy cannot move and attack and do the sonic pain animation, jedi class also are stunned in same mode. The jedi has 10 second for attack the eniems. They cannot flee or move!

NOTE: FP_VALOR Nullify the effect of this attack,

the effect is like the interrogator droid puncures of poison.

At better level is possible to poison multipole NPC \ players.

FP_VALOR  can save by poison.

FP_HEAL can constract, but NOT save the poison. I think it’s logical.

Efx: the gas cloud of noghri stick around the body of the victim.

Rank 1: poison 1 enemy for ten second. Enemy lose 1 hp for second. 10 hp of total dmg.

Rank 2: poison enemy for 15 seconds. Enemy lose 2 hp for second. 30 hp of total dmg

Rank 3: poison enemy for 20 second, enemy lose 3 Hp for second. 60 hp of total dmg.

level every two seconds in damage.

 

32 FP_KILL

the more devastating power: is like a multiple force grip of all enemies in the area. The caster can move and combat during the casting. All other cannot move.

For nullify: FP_VALOR, FP_PUSH, is a power of a sith lord.

Rank 1: enemy around are gripped and cannot move, the aggressor can move but not attack. Duraction 5 second, is just a diversive.

Rank 2: enemy aroung are gripped and dmg a lot, cannot move, the player aggressor can move and attack but is very slow: animation and movement are slowed by 50%. Duraction: 10 second-

Rank 3: enemy around are grippd and dmg with an amount of dmg. The aggressor can move and attack. Animation and move slowed by 25% duractionb 15 second of agony!

I don't have time right now to go into too much detail, but I'll give it a go.

 

I don't think breath and poison are neccessary. Poison isn't that good. Why wait for the poison effect to kill someone when you can use other powers that do more damage up front or a saber/saber throw? Breath is only a counter to poison. You could take any of the heals to counter it instead.

 

Same for scream and stasis. They are neat, but not really neccessary. I'l only take 1 rank in either. Stun an opponent and then hit them with a saber. I could see teams taking this power and just using it all the time.

 

Revitalize (better to be called Resurrect) and kill also not so good. For sp it takes the disadvantage of an ally dieing away. Besides with all the healing powers you shoule be able to keep npc's alive. Kill just seems lame. A super grip basically. Why take grip when you can take kill?

 

Whirl is just one of the stunning powers. So once again people will just group up and spam it.

 

Battle Precognition is just invincibility to everything except sabers. Too cheep.

 

I didnt' talk about the stats like 2 force points a second because that's something that would have to be play tested.

Well poison can be useful against multiple massive combat of enemies, this power are not thinking for classical JA game, but for the new mod creations. poison an enemy that is too far for kill esample, a stormtrooper, because you have some trouble with the nearest siths , can weak the enemy and when yu need to fight is pratically dead.

so is for easy the way, also, is a problematic bnecasuee enemy can do the same things for the player, the player will work, for player but also for NPCS in SP, so can create really terrific avversary, yu not image only the power for the playters or the multiplayter. this are thinked also for single player mods. and tales. the power can create spectacular boss with a large variety of effects. it's also power for the sith and NPC allied and enemy and the boutes, and not only for player of SP, or team of MP.

stasis is very useful for me, i need desperating a some way , every way for allow to NPCs of player to freeze enemies in my project and i not know how to do or script a paraylisis power.

twirl and sonic are like stun, true, but are very cool to see. i am doing a fantasy mod, so i need a large amount of elemental powers. and spells.

pity i am not a coder and i not klnow much about single player code. if not, i create of myself what i need.

but i am doing praticalluy all by myself pecayse for my project i never getted help and i am little... desperade.

Your critiques are valid in every case, this is just the base idea, how you make the powers better for not be repetetive or too cheep?

Really, this is a simply porpouse. i cannot do this thing alone. :\ i wanna only see what people think about the new force power creation.

for me JA has too many low variety on the powers. open code allow to have 32 force power, so why leaving empty this possiblitity? if someone have another idea about new powers, i am happy to listen. :)

You want to focus on instant hit powers, that can be countered by other powers, otherwise it won't work and it will be 'cheap'.  An example of the sort of balance that the original jka had in it is: rockets.

 

Rockets = explosives that kill you in one hit.  Cheap?  Definitely.  How to fix?

Rockets can be force pushed back at user.

Well, understood, but if yu are right, explain with there is in the game....

- an howler that make sonic pain on yavin . my idea was simply to create a power that allow to player of cast the howler scream effect.

- an interrogator droid that poison when hurt the player (Doomgiver JK2, Vjun3 in JA) really i love the poison effect of the interrogator. is pratically the same thing of put the howler scream and the interrogator poison effect in 2 force powers. those power not require to create a large amount of new function coding, because all this function all already in game. example: the stasis? is the g_freeze cvar and the set_freeze of icarus, no? also, in sab files there are animspeedscale and movespeedscale. is sufficient to set on 0 this value on the effect on a force power for creating the FP_STASIS. well, i know how can work thats power, simply i not have knowledge of C++ for do thats things.

however, if yu have reason, explain why the lucas arts have maked sonic screamer and poison droid on a FPS game. maybe i am crazy, but i think poison and sonicpain are pretty cool effects.

For avoid the cheapping of power i thinked the power for neutralize.

breath against poison, valor against stasis, sonicpain and all status alteration dark side power.

absorb neutralize grip, drain and lightning, it's seem a balance gameplay, for every superpower there is a power that nullify.

but for a thing,... after a long reflection... yes, katanamaru is right: the FP_REVITALIZE is unuseful.

I also approach this game as a more one-on-one fight or a one-on-few fight type of game. If your powers are based around fighting lots of enemies at once then they may work out better. In JA SP a 'large' fight in the base game is the Korriban levels. Those were: the player, 1-3 allies, 1-3 Sith.

I have thinked this idea for MP and SP too, for SP yes, need to be do for working on a few amount of enemies: otherwise: less of 5. if not the powers are very cheappy. ;)

for the MP need sure some adjustament for avoid the cheapping because can do the team player unbalance on the same cases.

example a siege battle. an enemy with FP_KILL level 3 in a team red, the blue has not anyone with FP_VALOR3 ... really need to have a balanced force power in the teams battle, or in MP the game is cheapped.

But i tell the truth: i am been ever more interessed a thousand of time to the SP game, not to the MP game.
