The models look way too plump and cartoony in my opinion (not just in this video), the animations feel too slow and wonky.

Yes, yes, it's a very superficial and subjective point of view. Sue me!

Yes, yes, it's a very superficial and subjective point of view. Sue me!

But that is not a fault of the engine. It's a freely accessible Engine for everyone. Of course you will have people with less experience using it or not as easy access to high quality assets.

Lots of games that people make on UE4 are also highly stylized, which can be a cartoonish style.
