About This File


This is a new Jango Fett model, made from a high quality model I made in blender awhile ago as well as some bits and pieces altered from others. It features five main appearances.
the options are:

default Jango with larger jetpack
Jango with his smaller jetpack
pilot Jango
red variant based off Jaster Mareel from the comic Jango Fett: Open Seasons.
blue variant based off Montross from the comic Jango Fett: Open Season.
(helmetless variant included.)


 Feel free to use as you see fit, but please do not use them outside of Jedi Knight games without my permission.

This model is custom made in blender and substance painter from scratch. They zip file includes vanilla textures and a separate pack with the PBR version.

INSTALLATION:

Extract zzz_JangoFett.zip and put it into your base folder in Gamedata. Enjoy!

If you don't use rend2 or a a renderer that supports pbr, or if you don't know what that means, you don't need the zzz_pbrjangofett.pk3 and can safely delete it if you wish, just keep the zzz_jangofett.pk3


if you have any errors, check to make sure you don't have to many new npcs installed

What's New in Version 1.1

Released

Unified the PBR and Standard Jango into one zip, drag and drop whatever version you are using.  If you don't use rend2 or a a renderer that supports pbr, or if you don't know what that means, you don't need the zzz_pbrjangofett.pk3 and can safely delete it if you wish, just keep the zzz_jangofett.pk3

I've also Updated the specular map and the models details stand out a bit more.

Looks amazing! So glad you followed through with making Jango, after the amazing Boba work you did. You might've got me back into the world of skinning (I mean model skinning, since I already skin people for a hobby), though maybe only for a few custom mandalorians.

Glad you like it. there will be some extra skins coming to mb2 soon I have authored, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with so let me know if you do.

This is the best Jango and Mandalorian model in general I've ever seen for this game, nice work. For any new skins for this model, would it be possible to create textures for the following Mandalorians?:

-Myles (Open Seasons Comics)

-Unnamed Mandalorian Soldiers (with green armor and yellow visor frames)

-Silas (Open Seasons Comics)

-RGB Mandalorians (like the ones MB2 has currently but updated with this model, would look infinitely better)

This model will be replacing most of the Mandalorian variants in mb2 with additional skins including rgb skins so keep an eye out for it!

could you add a lower poly model because it crashes the game in singleplayer and i have to change player model to progress. I have open jk installed

What does the crashlog say? May be due to another issue. It's unlikely I will make any changes to the model at this point.

Ran out of transform form space for ghoul2 models. adjust g2mini_miniheap_size in sv_init.cpp , i looked online and the error seems to happen because the model is too high quality
