No, literally, I was working on improving the old chat icon (because of what Spaghetti already mentioned) or even make a new one because it bothered me, but I ended up not being good at all at making stuff like that. But this is great, good job!

Sure, but make sure to give credit to SiLink and Ruxith most of all. I used theirs.

I actually really come on here to download a lot of the cosmetic mods. They're what keeps some of the minor annoyances of JKA at bay. I just wanted to let the uploader know that version 1.1 of this .pk3 still doesn't work well with other cosmetic mods. I'm running OpenJK, JA++, and got a lot of skins and cosmetic mods in my base folder. Let me know if you can fix this or not.

This mod looks really cool but it's not working for me!!! What do I do?  I've got MB2, and JA+, a few small cosmetic mods from this site.

This mod doesn't work properly FYI.

Its difficult to say where its failing, the parser is fine as there's no message.  I'd say the original shader is probably in the buffer before chat.shader is, therefore when it looks for the shader name, it uses that.

Override only works 1:1 if you replace the whole file and you likely do not want to do that to conflict with other potential mods.

Strange, I have ruled out the comment causing issues.  I have also ruled out the shader's file name as well.  zzchat.shder doesn't help.

I've never had an issue with it so far. Strange.

Especially OpenJK. That's all I use. I tested on jamp with no issues as well. Most of my clanmates haven't reported any issues either, the ones that use it.

Best cosmetic mod for JA since the beginning of time. Two thumbs up -- would give you five if I had five limbs.

Works now.  Looks like making it sort above assets#.pk3 also helped too?
