  1. Tried it,

     

    Now I just tried it Clientside, when I join a JA+ server my version is still 1.4, is that normal?

    But I got the new GUI and such, so I think it worked.

     

    Now, how do I get sure that JA++ works serverside?

    When I got the JA++ files (Clientside and Serverside in japlus folder) it says JA+ v2.4 Build 7 as Gamename.

    Shouldn't that be JA++ and then the version ?

  2. I tried it, but when I delete every .dll in japlus and in the %Kenny%/My Documents/OpenJK/japlus folder It gives me the following errors:

     

    VM_Create jampgamex86.exe failed!

    VM_LegacyCreate jampgamex86.exe failed!

     

    Could you maybe write it in steps how I should install ja++ please?

  3. I got the server running now, but the strange thing it, the gamename is JA+ 2.4 Build 7 instead of JA++.

    I removed any .dll and pk3 file that concerns JA+ and added everything concerning Server and Clientside of JA++ but it doesn't change the gamename of the server. :S

  4. I am doing something wrong with the installation.

     

    First I reinstall the game so everything is proper, then I patch it.

    Then I install ja+.

    Then I install OpenJK by extracting all files into Gamedata.

    Then I am deleting gla anims from base, then deleting jamp_v* (ja+).

    Then moving the client and serverside files from Ja++ into the japlus folder.

    Then when I run the jkded by using the .bat file it tells me: VM_Create: jampgamex86.dll failed! VM_LegacyCreate; jampgamex86.dll failed!

  5. Which Binaries? 

    I just downloaded the OpenJK Build from 31 december and placed them in gamedata and base as they should be.

    What concerns to japlus, I've downloaded JA+ again and placed the whole japlus folder in gamedata.

    Tried to run the .bat again and yet it gives me (  Gamename: OpenJK  )

  7. Hey guys, Maui here.

     

    I would like to ask how I can host a dedicated server from OpenJK together with JA++.

     

    I've used this;

    .\openjkded.x86 +set dedicated 2 +set fs_game "japlus" +set net_port 29070 +exec server.cfg
    

    But when I run the server and join it, it doesn't recognise any JA++ commands, like amlogin/aminfo/... .

    How can I get it to work?

    I got a strange problem with my entities list I think.

     

    I am trying to retexture the Sand-texture from FFA3 and it works when the server just got booted, but when the map cycle goes on and gets back onto FFA3, the default sand texture is back.

     

    What could be the problem and how do I solve it?

  9. Well I just make the light and add some things on the worldspawn and then compile it fully and go ingame with /Devmap maui and check the lights.

    But it all looks so failure, the map is so dark, I just need full help with this. How to light up the map nicely and so on.

  10. Well, I don't understand a thing about it.

    I can't get it realtistic or work with lights after all.

    I don't know where to place it, how to make it look cool and so on.

     

    The only thing I can do with gtkradiant is using some of the functions and so on.

    I can everything besides working with shaders and lights well enough to make it look good.

     

    I just got lame lights, I don't know what to do :S

     

    And about the TV, I just want you to look at my pc and help me like that, so you can talk me through and stuff.
