    master.jkhub.org might be a bit rough right now. Amazon EC2 is having some problems, and it's even brought Minecraft's central databases down. I'm watching the console though, and it looks fine apart from some servers disappearing off the list even though they're still up.

    All I have to say is, if you're a web developer, FOR THE LOVE OF FSM make sure you test it in the top browsers. Chrome is a bad culprit when it comes to standards compliance in rendering webpages - its rendering engine is very lax when it comes to sloppy HTML and CSS, and some stuff that might look great in Chrome can look plain broken in every other browser (as it should). When I say top browsers, this means Opera as well!

    It's been mentioned above but DON'T GO FOR MAGNAVOLGE. They have no clue what they are doing, they have a habit of losing client data or terminating and clearing accounts without warning if they think your mod is "malicious". They removed all the servers that were running the Gungslinger's Academy mod (4 in total), for spaghetti monster knows why. They have no form of DoS protection at all, and if your server IS being DoS'd, they'll be sure to quickly abort it from the network. Oh and yeah the com_hunkmegs cvar doesn't exist in JKA, and is never referenced. JKA uses a dynamic memory pool or something instead. (ask @ :3)

    It's a bit crashy, especially with sound file playback. It's probably better to use a ZIP tool that's more fully-featured, and still actively maintained and updated today; such as 7-zip, WinRAR, WinZIP, etc. All ZIP programs can open PK3 files if you associate the file extension with it.
