  1. @@Kualan Can these textures be made better quality if I maintain the aspect ratio? Like in skinning where things need to be to the power of 2 I believe? (so 512 x 512, 1024 x 512 etc etc)?
  2. Hi All, Maybe a bit of an odd one. I'm looking for a way of making glass solid as in can't see through it? As if a shutter is down of some sort? In particular this glass in the windows and doors: http://i.imgur.com/74920LR.png Can this be done through a shader? I know it will effect all glass in the game, but I'm not concerned about that. As I can just remove the updated shader pk3 from my base after I've done what I need in that office. Hope this makes sense, if not lemme know and I'll try to explain clearer! Cheers Iffo/Grav

  5. I have a response (My own fault for the delay in getting back to you, the mod creator actually responded very promptly!) "Well, the only new enums in RPMod's anims.h are for "ledge grab" and "raise hand" animations, all others use the BaseJKA "BOTH_CIN_***" ones. I'm thinking your issue may rather be related to the fact you can't host a RPMod game on your computer, so you're probably running these demos off BaseJKA instead. Did you try putting the RPMod-Animations.pk3 in your Base folder" I tried putting the animations in my base folder, and two things happened. - When I don't have an emote, it now does the automatic crucify pose (Rather than the death animation), which you usually get when you don't have animations. - Some of the custom emotes, just do random emotes? so like I do /emsit2 and it'll do the arms crossed emote in jaMME?   6. Cheers Ent . Will get back to you about the anims.h file. P.S Yeah it's more blurry than I wanted but the quality of the skybox is low and very noticeable, so needed a lot of blur to mask it
  7. Is there anyway to get custom animations to work within jaMME? I'm playing on RPMod, and whenever someone uses a custom animation exclusive to the mod their character does the dying emote, which means the demo just isn't usable. Example: http://imgur.com/cHtvGqx, the two either side are using custom emotes, whilst the one in the middle is using a standard emote, which works fine. Thanks Grav
  8. Modview crashes whenever I try to open a jedi_hm model.glm using this importer/exporter. Even if I import the model, make no changes at all, then export it. It crashes upon opening.

    Scraped off the rust after a few weeks of not touching jaMME, I've noticed a few AA issues, where I think I messed with the settings slightly.. some of the camera work particularly the triple kill on factory could be better, but overall pleased with the result. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGwHk7b1EAo
  11. Are you locking the dof, just like you lock the camera? The only reason I say this, is because I was pulling my hair out before I realised this.
  12. Went with Raz0rs suggestion although I have no background in modelling. Simply copied the noweap.md3 and dropped it into a pk3 after renaming it. Seems to have worked.   13. Hey all, Was wondering if someone could help me please? I'm trying to make a Frag Video of a few Instagib games I've played in recently but the problem is a lot of shots have people spawning in the background and the large green protect/invulnerability bubble is too eye catching. I've tried editing the shader files, and I can only seem to get rid of the outer ring of the bubble, not the inner? I'm stumped so I'm turning to you guys . If anyone knows of such mod, would really appreciate a link! Cheers Grav

    In chase mode the character as you say always seems to be centre screen, I didn't want the character to be in centre of the screen for certain bits, so I just messed about with the camera mode. When I say 'changed' in the previous post, I mean as in a specific focus/centred on a characters head/leg/arm, rather than their chest/centre of model, as you can't get close to the model with zoom as you just end up looking at their chest? Not sure if I'm making any sense haha, I'm away for a few days but can post screenies when back home, to try and explain haha.

    Aye, I decided to use the Camera mode, in the chase mode it always seems to focus on the chest area of the character? Can this be changed?

    You can change the walk speed? Thanks to all for the comments! Although I think some others need to start posting some of their videos! Just a quick video I messed about with, never really done a 'chase' cam so thought I'd give it ago. Might re-do it at some point with dof and timeline.

I thought we could do with a topic where we can just post our works. _________ So I've made 3 videos using jamme so far, and I think if you watch them in order, you will see I'm getting better with each one (well... at least I like to think so)

    Looks great! Looking at the video it looks like the DOF also works on a timeline so you can pull in and out of focus as you wish?

  24. After playing around it seems if you animate the below control in After Effects you can get a good pull focus effect.
  25. Sorry for the double post, not sure you'll see this otherwise. Is it possible to animate the depth of field? So like pull focus from the back of the shot to the front? Grav
