    I have no idea what OpenJK, JKE, vanilla, or rend2 are. The more I read Im like reeallyy??!!

      The source code was released in April 2013.

      OpenJK is a clean version of the engine and modcode (which we had previously). Some mods are based on OpenJK.

      JKE is an OpenJK based mod for SP.

      `Vanilla` and `rend2` refer to renderers that OpenJK uses. The vanilla renderer is almost completely unaltered from Jedi Academy. The `rend2` renderer has modern features, such as normal-mapping.
