roleplaying RPG Yalara

Hello all, and thank you for checking out this file.
This is RPG Yalara v2, a revival and remastering of the original Yalara RP map by CydonPrax, then known as Ki-Adi-Mundi. The map is very popular with RP communities, and as such, I thought I'd try to give it a little facelift. That facelift turned into a bit more time as I decided to completely redo entire sections of the map, so here we are.
The readme will contain a full list of the changes, should you wish to see them. One of the biggest changes is a marked improvement in performance, as I believe the original map never had a full -vis compile. So portalling is done better and as such, the city and temple exterior sections run much smoother.
A friendly alert that this map will likely require OpenJK to run, as it seems that base versions don't support the number of triggers / interactables present on this map. Under those conditions, the elevators in the temple don't work. However, you can still access the second floor via a teleport on the map; check out the readme for info on that.
Anyways, I hope those of you still RPing can enjoy the map, and I look forward to hopefully producing another!

RPG Dreadnaught

Hello all! This is RPG Dreadnaught, an old, classic RP map seemingly lost to time (but not to MrWonko's JK3 mirror).
The map is basically as you remember it, with one added bonus; I've fixed the missing textures on the AT-AT in the Hoth area. They are now shown exactly as the author intended.
Happy to be able to bring this one back to the community with this tiny QoL fix as well!

JLH's Broken Flares Patch

This issue is typically caused by a shader conflict that exists in the Yalara and Yalara v2 shader directives. If you have either of those two maps, you'll notice that some maps that attempt to use flares will have problems of this kind.
This .pk3 attempts to fix that issue by reordering how the .shader file is loaded.
I've informed CydonPrax of the issue and will also be pushing my own fix on my version of Yalara once I've made some other changes I've been wanting to make.

Skybox fix for Alzoc 3 Capital

This file fixes the misrotated skybox on the bottom of Alzoc 3 Capital. It's not important, but it is jarring if you get to the edge of the map.

Rannon Praxeum / Rannon Settlement V3 shader fix

Hello everyone! JLH here, and I bring another fix.
Two RP maps by Sekhola (rannon_praxeum and rannon_settlement_v3) have a shader conflict that makes rannon_praxeum look less-than-perfect. This file fixes that conflict.
Just drop the .pk3 in your GameData/base folder and enjoy!
It's worth noting that the maps in question, as of now, are not available on JKHub.

HOW IT WORKS
===========
Most of you know that JKA loads files in reverse-alphabetical order. That's why this file is prefixed with 'z'.
Between the two maps, 'rannon_settlement_v3' is loaded first. Because the two maps have the same shader file (je_sehkola.shader), only the first is loaded while the second is ignored.
The second shader file has important directives that influence transparency and appearance of textures in rannon_praxeum.
This file combines the instructions found in both .shader files into a single .shader file that is loaded before both maps.

Base JKA Source Files (decompiled)

Hello all! I've brought treats!
I wrote a batch file that decompiled all of the .bsps available in the base JKA asset .pk3s. and got the .maps for all of the single- and multiplayer maps in the game. Hopefully this can help some folks get maps up quickly or use some of the geo in the original maps, or even just for learning purposes.
Just a few quick points:
1. I have not edited these. What you see is what the decompiler spit out. Decompiling from .bsp is notoriously messy; you will have some missing textures, shaders, and models.
2. The only thing I did was decompile the .bsps, so full credit for these .maps goes to Raven Software.
3. I have not included files that can be found in the most recent version of NetRadiant_Custom. That means the following files are not included:
kor1
t1_rail
t2_rancor
t3_rift
mp/ctf4
mp/duel8
mp/ffa5
mp/siege_hoth
4. I have included the JA bonus maps here, as they were official Raven releases.
5. The Star Destroyer siege map is not included; you can find the .map on JKHub.

Blueice Twilight Flare Fix

The flares on several lights came up with that dreaded "no texture" grey square.
This .pk3 fixes that issue, so if you were having that problem, it shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Installation : Drop the .pk3 (zzzz_jlh-blueice-fix.pk3) into your Jedi Academy/GameData/Base directory. Should fix the problem.
