Is it possible to have an automatic day/night cycle that lasts for hours similar to that of real life which basically jumps between a nighttime skybox and a daytime skybox by using target_delay in radiant? EDIT: As I more or less found this tutorial that pretty much rendered my question useless, I have changed my question above OLD => Solution: http://jkhub.org/tutorials/article/102-shader-remapping/ Topic: "Hey So this might sound like a silly question... I dont think its possible but cant hurt to ask just incase: Say in Lugormod you can remap a texture/shader to another simply by typing something into the console.   2. True! But we've had numerous attempts and none have hit us at all thus far as they actively block and blacklist such attacks. Prior to getting that service, with GamingDeluxe: Our server would be down for 2 days straight whereas they would tell us that there is nothing they can do. BlueFang on the other hand, didnt even respond...
  3. It resolved itself I suppose it is infact a common issue.
  4. @@Renegade We used GamingDeluxe, they are truly great. Only issue is DDOS once again but its not a problem unless you become very active. To handle that level of DDOS which is used by certain people in the community, your best solution is a virtual machine from NFOServers. Otherwise its simply too difficult. You need to stop the packets before they actually arrive towards the application layer (server itself) and thats not doable on regular server providers.
  5. Have to disagree. Lousy customer support and a bogus ddos protection claim (Not that its a problem if your server is rather small on activity)
  6. We have those set on both server.cfg as well as jampconfig/openjk config. We havent really touched anything but it just stopped showing up. Ah well.
  7. Our three ran fine though for a fairly long time until two suddenly decided to go kaput. And if I am not mistaken, Caelum did the same thing when he hosted several servers for many clans and that wasnt an issue either. As far as im aware, EFF only has one server too. It seems strange that out of the three servers we host, only our clan is down but not the one we host for another clan ... Anyway thanks for the tip. I tried aquiring some more IPs but there is a shortage of IPv4 addresses and there are none available at this time ;(
  8. Update on the matter: Seems its not just our clan that suffers from this but also EFF. Is it possible that someone is intercepting our servers communication with the master server? And if so, is it possible to do for specific ports?
  9. @@eezstreet We host three servers on our virtual machine. They all have the same IP but end with different three ports => (which is a public server with dedicated 2 and very active daily. It runs on the latest version of OpenJK) (which is a private server with dedicated 1 as to stay hidden from the master server, yet it would end up showing up anyway... It runs on linuxjampded) (which is a backup server for another clan, dedicated 2, runs latest OpenJK) is the only one that currently shows up in the server list. Three days ago, all three were showing up. How is it that suddenly and got switched off from the master servers and cant appear again? ( not really being any issue as thats what we technically want). I have literally tried everything I can think of and I just cannot seem to solve it. Even tried shutting of the for an hour or so and see if that'd help, but nope...
  10. There is also two secrets in the map. One is located in Shree's office (the office with the rancor). Im gonna be pretty vague about that one because its pretty fun. The other is a hidden button that opens the door next to the statue in the library.

It is meant as a tribute to a group that went by the name of the "Secret Mission Center" between 2007 and 2014. This map had a lot of authors and was a collaboration of many people, the majority with practically no map experience and very few with actual experience. Regardless, the saying "too many cooks spoil the broth" may be applied. The map is FAR from perfect and there are known bugs and glitches that may be revised for a V3 version, one day. However we put everything into getting it in a releasing state and just pushed for this project that was seeming like a never ending one. What we have is the end result of that and we are truly happy to have something to show for it. Furthermore the file size is rather large due to the fact that textures and shaders have not been revised and mostly just thrown together. There are also two secrets in the map.
