  1. I despise how in MP, stormtroopers/gunners wont fire at you sometimes unless you change from saber to melee. Once you switch back to saber, they stop. As if they fear your blade lol, anyone know why this happens?
  2. Hey, How do I go about making a NPC_Droid_Protocol have infinite health/not be able to be damaged? Surely theres some way... Thanks for any help!
  3. Hey, I'll try to keep this really short! We are a European clan that has existed since the 1st November of 2006. Having gone steady ever since, we recently celebrated our 9th year anniversary recently. Currently we are roughly around 100 members (who check the boards atleast once every two weeks), and that is not including the many applicants we have. Our clan is first and foremost a social community. For those of you who play Jedi Academy actively, you will most likely have heard about us. Currently, we are one of the more active clans in the game, especially in the EU region. While we offer teachings in sabering on JA+ MP from a wide array of teachers, that is not the primary reason to join our clan. Some of the things that we do are active weekly events that are planned ahead of time by our members. This includes events such as: Hydroball tournaments, Annual swoop races and tauntaun duels. A game mode called Domination created by one of our members as well as something we call BattleChess with a map also designed by one of our members. A game called "Predator" is yet another mode we like to hold. Saber classes and Full Force classes. Exploration on the many maps that exist in Jedi Academy in order to fully appreciate the game and what so many people have created over the years. We also do have a small team of dedicated mappers who work on creating maps. Filming SW-like & parody movies featuring our own members. A progressive rank system with a master and padawan system in order to make sure that you have a "Jedi" like experience in this game while socializing with others. Your master will be chosen by you depending on the person you bonded the most with during your trial. He will serve as a guide in the clan and be like a best buddy of yours. This system includes ingame missions that you have to carry out with your master and with the aid of other members should you want it. As well as trials to take with your master in order to pass onto your next rank. These are not skillbased, rather anyone who has played the game for a month or two will be able to pass them with some patience. Alternatively, you can disregard all of this and just sit steady at your first rank. It is not a requirement to advance after all! ...and much much more. Our members truly become a part of an internet family of sorts. To the point where some gather and even meet up during the summer. This also helps us to make sure that the people that join are planning to stick around rather than join for a week only to never be seen again.   4. Hey, So how do I properly use the JP_AutoQuit feature on our JA+ servers? This is from the readme notes of JA+: -autoQuit feature (jp_autoQUIT "80-06:00") : desactivate it if you don't have an autoRestart script in your server. To desactivate it put seta jp_autoQUIT "" it has been stated that basejka servers need to be restarted sometimes in order to increase performance. This feature will make your server quit at a given date. Then your autoRestart script will restart the server. By default "80-06:00" means that your server will Quit after 80Hours of online run but it will wait for 06:00 in the morning (this is the date in your server). People currenytly playing are warned 1 minute before the Quit. And the server ask them to use /reconnect. Now I have checked the timezone where the server is hosted along with the time during the logs of the server and no matter what I type in, the autoquit doesnt work... Any ideas?
  5. Haha clan leader myself, we merely adapted the epic missions and the MPRP map as missions members are required to pass with their Master before taking basic gameplay trials The members love it so thanks a ton man

  8. Helps when you are 8+ people going at it XD Thanks a ton!! While Zykmod looks awesome the two maps will suffice for now. Would love it if there were more maps for JA+/base like these.
  9. Hey, Just curious if anyone knows of any maps with pre-spawned NPCs. The ultimate goal being some form of difficult Co-Op where you have to be several players to clear it. The only ones I have came across is Toshik's RPG_BaseAttack V1.0 and his Project Missile Launcher map. Would really appreciate it if anyone knows of any and would share them.

  11. Hey, So I've successfully managed to edit the .veh and .npc file of the standard X-Wing. The ship itself appears smaller and has smaller hitboxes. It has been done on the server and no one is required to download anything. The only issue is when you actually enter the ship -> The model as you are flying it is sadly just as huge as the default X-Wing, whereas everyone else sees it being small. Is there any way to edit this so that everyone sees it small when they are in the vehicle? (Perferbly without being required to download something). If so, how?
  12. Hey, I was curious wether its possible to by pressing a button, turning the visibilty of a model from on to off and vice versa? Doesn't feel like you can make a model invisible so I doubt its doable but might as well ask just incase.

  14. You're gonna have to forgive me... do you mean you're attempting to do this for me or are you doing something else for yourself but similar? So if I got this right though => 1) Import GLM to Blender, fix the animation and save. 2) Import GLM with new animations to Noesis and get the MD3 file. => All good? Will still need to retexture/reshader the skin but thats not the concern right now, I suppose. With no experience in Blender, how hard is it to specify range of animations do you reckon?
  15. Crap... So theres no way to actually set them in an animation? Is there an alternative way of creating statues with an animation of your choice?
  16. Thanks!! And any ideas on how I could set a specific animation to the .md3? Is it doable in radiant or should I export it while it is in that particular animation that I desire? (Sorry im really clueless, lol)
  17. Hey! So I got these two skins made by the awesome @@Milamber => http://tinyurl.com/dlcloudjof ...And I was wondering if it is possible to turn them into models as statues inside a map. A retexture/reshader work probably needs to be done but how would I go about making the .GLM files into .MD3 which is needed for radiant? I have searched around and seen mentions of Blender, Milkshake and such but I have no experience with them whatsoever. Rather overwhelming to tell you the truth. Some of the comments say its not even possible. Any kind soul out there with some free time on his hands that can help me out with this?

  19. Hey! A friend of mine has issues with his Radiant and I figured I'd try asking here incase anyone has a solution in mind. "So my problem is that, everytime I try to open a map not made by me it doesn't open and gtk crashes. Though very few ones do, until they get updated in which they end up not working either. I use gtk 1.5 and windows 7 64bit. I tried with 1.4 and 1.6 both work and can open maps, but I cant save anything. It just saves, but doesnt, nothing happens. Also 1.4 and 1.6 are very buggy imo, I don't want to use em. I tried using earlier versions of 1.5, same thing, but 2006 version gave me an actual error report before crashing."
