  1. Clonetroopers were made more efficient and more professional, not because they were trained to do so, but because by the time of filming of the AOTC

war had been made more entertaining and the directors are actually looking  for interesting ways to bring the battle from the screen into our livingrooms.

In the original trilogy the stormtrooper actors only had to look sharp in polished armors, and with some random lasers added flying across the TV-screen.

  2. Let's stay true to the topic of the thread: we are talking about Rebels here.

Describing something as crap is rarely real critics..

    ^that

SW:Rebels is what fans should follow before the premiere of SW7 , because there may be a link between these two

I watched the first 2 episodes of SWR and I liked it.

  3. phew...  already made up my mind on getting a samsung hdd :shifty:

Btw the first skyline menu is very laggy for me, and Im playing payday2 without any problems at all...

so if you will get back to creating a new version of Skyline menu, will it be laggy too?? So far I think the best menu is the original one.

  4. , have yout tried these maps yet?

Didn't he make that map before even seeing the movie? Or was that a myth? Can't remember.

SJC made 2 mustafar maps; one before EP III 's premiere,  and one after he had actually seen the movie.

    Mustafar Duel/FFA  (2004) http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Episode_III_Mustafar_DuelFFA;31653

    EP III Map Pack - Part 2 (2005)  http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Star_Wars_Episode_III_JKA_Map_Pack_Part_2;44558

I prefer the one he made first.

edit:    oh my god I just realized how little JJ.Abrams is compared to the Duel of the Fates.

  5. Yes ,but i don't like it much. The lava looks like very false....And this map is small compared with the other one

Battlefront 2 maps are great, but porting them would be risky, and if someone would create a look-a-like for JA,

it would take so much time and effort, that it wouldn't probably even be worth it, atleast not anymore... it's an old subject.

SJC's maps aren't perfect, but he did a great job on EP III mapping. We should get a lot of sleep before EP VII (2015)

because there's gona be many new fresh locations to create and new player models to request... belive you me :D

  6. Looking great so far, oh and by the way folks,  the head is ok,  let's not get too nitpicky with this.

The nose looked weird at first, that I can agree on. But in this game you hardly focus on the face of your player model.

It can only look perfect here on the forum, what actually matters ingame is whether he looks too thin or too fat... right?

  7. @

.....I am soooo eager to see Episode VII now, especially that they are going to release the trailer soon

(though it might include scenes from other Episodes for the most part, and only one tiny piece of shots from Episode VII).

You may be right about that, because now StarWars has the Disney-label on it, so there's  twice the preassure from the media and millions of fans worldwide.

I expect the first teaser trailer for Episode VII  to be much like the teaser for Episode III. - that one also showed little of the upcoming film but got me goosebumps.

" Lord Vader ?  Yes, Master.   Rise.."  peed in my panties

  8. Hi, my name is Star Wars and I'm an American space opera franchise created by George Lucas.

My films, consisting of two trilogies, that spawned an extensive media franchise called the Expanded Universe including books, television series, computer and video games.

My story contains many themes, with strong influences from philosophy and religion. My journey started on May 25, 1977, under the title Star Wars.

I became a worldwide phenomenon, followed by two sequels, released at three-year intervals. Sixteen years after the release of the trilogy's final film,

I released a new prequel trilogy of films. In 2012, The Walt Disney Company bought me for $4.05 billion and announced that they would produce three new films.

My next film, Star Wars Episode VII, will be directed by J.J Abrams and is planned for release in 2015.  I can't wait to meet you all !!

There's a Cartoon- ish  Dooku model included in that models pack above^ ...It may not be what you are lookin' for but it's close.

Now, here's the model without the cape.  Those shoulderpads can be painted on the skin, and with a specular shader it could work.

If you're going to work on this one, remember to contact the authors of the models pack @Psyk0Sith, Monsoontide (and Omeewan)

  10. Star Wars: Episode VII Trailer Music to be Recorded Next Month by John Williams? First Teaser This Xmas ?

    JohnWilliams31.jpg

During his concert in Milwaukee few weeks ago, John Williams revealed that “in about two weeks” he'll start working on the Episode VII score.

This suggests that Williams will actually be working on the first Episode VII teaser trailer next month… so we may expect a teaser this Christmas.

  11. I wonder how would they explain the ruins there... Jedi temples of the Old Republic? Ancient cities like of Massassi? Or grove ruins of ancient species like in KOTOR?

EDIT   - image I found just now

Looks like a stormtrooper searching debris, and since they are filming outside, it suggests the trees and grass are part of the scene. Yavin? Dantooine?

  12. @NumberWan,  try a google image search of Skellig Islands, one of the locations, that place is just amazing.

Skellig Michael, where the filming is taking place, contains monastic ruins dating to the sixth century and is a Unesco world heritage site.

It is essentially a barren rock exposed to the wind and wave and this location is said to be home to the sith/ bad guys, but that's only a rumour.
