z3filus Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Hi,Is there a way to get the grid image of any model? (torso_arms, hips, legs, l_arm, r_arm) Characters in Jedi Academy use e.g. only 1 boots texture for model_default, model_redand model_blue, which mean that there are team skin textures that include a certain area grid mapped, image below. I have an idea for a robe texture, and having a grid image would help.I'm using the old_benkenobi from MB2that has Luke Skywalker's head (base model)I need grid images for this ben + luke_head
Solution Langerd Posted March 14, 2015 Solution Posted March 14, 2015 In blender you can open glm and export UV layout - this grid that You want. It is very helpful to know which texture of the face we are editing in our model. z3filus likes this
minilogoguy18 Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Yeah, any 3d software can make an image outta a UV map. Langerd likes this
Asgarath83 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Open a model with a 3d models editor and show the Uvmapping, you obtain the grid of a texture.
