Lucasfilm Games is new identity for future titles
Apprentice replied to Circa's topic in Star Wars Franchise Discussions
You make an interesting argument, however I look at other aspects other then 'what it can become'. If there is one thing that has plagued us players in the last five or six years, is the amount of controversy surrounding the release(s) of major AAA title(s). In the last five or six years, there has not been a release that was botched up in one way or another. Either the end-result was filled with bugs in such way that the title was clearly not ready to be released at that particular moment (Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout 76) or received a lot backlash due to its micro-transactions implementation, making it a pay-2-win game (Battlefront II) and if that doesn't "happen", you can have the problem that the authentication servers are all flattened due to overload (Assassin's Creed Unity IIRC). This unfortunately cannot should not be ignored by us and unfortunately, it will happen again with the new announced Star Wars titles even if they are not published by EA. Game developers can and will get away with this because of a) there is no consumer regulations regarding this and b) people will continue to pre-order the game, making a steady revenue for the developers to do as they please. This is one of the major reasons why I don't buy full priced games anymore, I'm not going to spend 60 dollars in order to publicly beta-test a triple-A game and that is my rambling . . . -
It's a free game (now), it saves you 40 bucks. Once I get around to it, I give it a shot and I already saw my padawan claiming it for himself . . .

Lucasfilm Games is new identity for future titles

O dear . . . With MachineGames's latest installments in the Wolfenstein franchise and Todd Howard's "it just works", I am certainly not that optimistic . . . -
Lucasfilm Games is new identity for future titles

They should've never dismantled LucasArts to begin with and I certainly hope this iteration will make non-Star Wars games as well. The old LucasArts has given us Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle, to name a few and I certainly hope we'll be treated on more . . . -
Are you using OpenJK ?? If so, then it's a possibility that there are still PK3 files in your roaming folder. You can find them in C:\Users\<Your name here>\Documents\My Games\OpenJK -folder. Try removing them and see if the problem persists . . .

I would suggest using the nodraw texture rather then the caulk texture, since caulk is known for casting (unwanted) shadows . . . -
That's what they all say . . .??

It was a good episode and a fitting end for the Baby Yoda storyline. I don't think it would've worked if they had decided to continue it in season three. Now new storylines can be set-up and I wonder how they are going to do the Darksaber line, Bo-Katan and Mandalore itself. I don't think that Boba Fett will play a large part in it, since he's gotten his own series . . .

We'll have to wait for chapter two in order to get a scope on how the Dantooine maps have been fleshed out, before any roleplaying adaption can be done . . .

"Something went wrong. Please try again"
Apprentice replied to Apprentice's topic in JKHub Feedback & Help
That I do not know. So far JKhub is apparently the only one who gives trouble with downloads, all other platforms that I utilize do work as they should, including on Internet Explorer . . . -
I have to say, I do like the series and so far it has exceeded my expectations, including season 1's episode 5. What I like most about it, is the respect the creators have for the Star Wars universe and lore and the references they are making within the show. Far better then what CBS is doing with Star Trek in "Star Trek: Discovery": create a whole new series, label it "Star Trek" and you have a new Star Trek series. My only nitpick is that the episodes are short, too short at times but that is the only thing . . .

That I don't know, it does work for me as well but I do have a screenshot: -
It would certainly be possible but do they have the time and the resources to pull this feat while working on the mod itself, that's the question . . .

Decompiling BSP files to MAP
Apprentice replied to BlindDaThief's topic in General Modding Discussions
Q3map2 can do this for years and I wonder which other programs you try to use. Also, decompiled maps aren't pretty. It is a mess and will always be a mess and not very suited for beginners . . . -
Hello, Several users of my website are unable to download my work from JK Hub. They are greeted with a "Something went wrong. Please try again" coupled with an error code: 2S119/1. Please look into the matter, since I wish that my work is available for everyone.
