Well since no one talked in that topic since december i´ll do it here, have you thought about using starkiller´s chest plate? This model is a bit ugly but the armor it´s good enough i think http://jkhub.org/files/file/738-starkiller-skin-pack/

It´s a nice reskin but you forgot to add a sounds.cfg to make it use the sounds you included -
Must say i´m enjoying this mod a lot and for now i have only found 1 bug, in the level yavin_canyon once you get inside the atst the saber gets stuck on the yellow style, had to use the cheat kyleplayermfs to get it working again just that, love the mod.
