  1. Now now let's not derail this thread. People have the right to request whatever they want. I personally hope someone does take up this request. That character looks awesome. Plus, it's star wars. You can't go wrong.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: place the zz_pits.pk3 file in your C:\programfiles\lucasarts\jediacademy\gamedata\base directory. NEW!! Added a third pit map! DESCRIPTION: The duel pits from Jedi Outcast! These were Maps originally created by Ravensoftware that ONLY worked in Jedi Outcast. I have added alot of missing textures and removed the tavion npc spawn. I have included Screenshots of the maps as they are displayed in my JKA game. These maps are Duel (from original version). These are the original pit maps. These can be used for Single Player and/or Multiplayer, it's entirely up to you. There are two versions, one which is the regular pit which is lit brightly (orignally part of JKO Single Player). The other is much darker in lighting and is the JKO multiplayer version, which includes the original music. The multiplayer version also has weapon spawns. This is the map I spent the most of my time playing in when I played Jedi Outcast, it was an unhealthy obsession. Now I added it to JKA so I can spawn TONS more NPC's in there and have INSANE fights with better models. To use the maps, go to the console and type: Light SP Map: devmap pit Darker MP Map with weapon spawns and music: devmap duel_pit NEW! Pit map from cairn_dock1! devmap pit_dark Have fun! BUGS: None at all! COMMENTS: Download and enjoy. note that you must have JKA installed in order to use this mod.
  3. If this gets made he needs a Michael Jackson soundpack. Also, here's something interesting: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/43228/ It's a custom made "Rabbit" looking race for the game Oblivion. This could be put into JKA by The Punisher I am sure.

  5. TEX00004 was the roof texture (one of the jpgs). Not sure what's going on with it.
  6. Yep exactly this. That roof texture is TEX00004. It is non-existent in the skin file.
  7. I just told you. There are a LOT of textures, and not all of them are mapped in the skin file. You have to edit the skin file so each individual texture covers something. Do not leave any texture out.
  8. Nevermind, I found the error. Turns out there was a mod which adjusted some music and sounds for various levels. Deleting this worked.
  9. Yes I tried both, and both give me that same error. I think it has to do with a file in assets0 in the sound>ambience but I'm not 100%.
  10. No, not to my knowledge. I only ever added extra .pk3 files.
  11. No idea why I'm getting this but it happens when I try to do "devmap t2_trip". Any help on what to add/alter? Edit: Took a look in assets0.pk3 in music, I don't see t2_trip anywhere. Can someone provide me with these assets?
  12. I don't know, whenever I add a new .pk3 I put it in the My Documents directory, and then it loads fine. I guess it's different for others/different OpenJK version.
  13. It has a certain folder structure. Once you install it just run openjk_sp_x86.exe. Also, you will have a new base folder, so just copy all your .pk3 files there including assets. My documents>MyGames>OpenJK>Base
  14. It's easier to just use OpenJK. A lot of people will recommend it so I'll be first.
  15. @@dark_apprentice So I've looked it all over. It actually seems like there isn't too much to fix as I first thought. TEX00000 appears to be being pasted on the model incorrectly both on top and underneath the model and TEX00004 doesn't appear to exist at all on this model. Not all textures seem to be accounted for/mapped in the skin file. Also the jpgs work just fine, stick with that.
  16. @@eezstreet There seems to be a large problem with this. I'll try my best to explain what happened from my point of view. It worked fine when I copied over the modified exe and dll files. It all worked fine up until last night. I had made zero adjustments to my game, and I ran the game through the .bat file. The first thing that happened was that the intro video played audio, but my screen was black. I then skipped the intro by hitting the enter key, and it went to the menu, but my screen was still black (it made all the normal sounds that the menu does). I thought that maybe my computer was going to shit, so I tried out some other games, and they all loaded and worked fine. So it wasn't my computer. Anyway, I checked all the JKA folders for "date modified" and nothing new had been altered. There were also no errors, surprisingly. So I reloaded the game again through the bat file, it was still black. Now this is what I did, even though I couldn't see shit, only hear it. I opened the console, and devmapped a map. It then made all of the loading sounds, and I heard the map music playing, it all loaded fine (audio wise). I then made my character walk around and jump, and used force powers, and all the audio played perfectly, it was all fine as if my screen wasn't black at all. So, I couldn't figure it out at all. There was something wrong that was preventing me from viewing JKA at all. So what I did to fix it, was to put the original files back which the aiworkshop replaced - the exe and dll files. Now I can see everything, no more black screen. I installed it around 4-5 days ago. For me it just went black after 4 or 5 days. I had to uninstall it basically. I think it may be an issue with the exe or dll files.
  17. That's not good in Modview. We have to figure out which textures aren't right, and which textures have worked fine. Creating the .veh and npc file is a must, then I can spawn it in-game and take a look at how the game has mapped the textures, then I can go about trying to fix them. Unless there's a version of modview that adds the textures.

  19. That is true. Maybe this was put in the wrong section, I just required assistance with finding a model that had it. In that case I vote to move this to Mod Reqs & Suggestions.
  20. None of those. I'm simply looking for a character with that style hood and cape so I can run around as that character in T2_Trip.
  21. Well a prime example would be from the other section. "Looking for a model". I didn't see anybody there telling the OP to make the character himself (instead of actually helping him out), but somehow I was singled out for asking if there's an existing model with this particular cosmetic item. Perhaps my original post was taken entirely out of context, but does not excuse the fact to automatically assume that my intent is to bash something together. If someone really wants to know what my intention is, all they have to do is ask, not assume.
  22. I'm not looking to make one.. I just want to play as a character that has that style cape and hood. Really not surprised that people don't stay here for the community anymore. It HAS to be pure love for SW that would keep anyone here.
