set spawnflags 1

it contains patches. When I try to open .obj Noesis says This file type cannot be previewed, but may be exportable. Would you like to export? I click yes and choose md3 as output file though when I go to directory path there's no md3 file there.
-
is brushexport2 function in gtk 1.4 as well? Because I can't find it ;o
-
Shall I upload the .map model here? so that someone may find a solution?
-
So.. what do you suggest I do now? I have the model in .map file and it's all fine with textures and shapes. I use this program to convert to ase http://jkhub.org/files/file/950-map-to-ase-converter-utility/ But it gets very bugged and I would rather converted it directly from .map to md3
-
yeah that's what I wanted to say
-
what? ;o Did you try importing .map from radiant 1.4 and exporting as .md3?
-
well it doesnt work. Nothing shows up damnit ;/

YEY I got it working though the model is very bugged and has no texture (gray/white). Seriously is there no way to convert .map to md3 without messing so much...?
-
Now I don't understand anything...... I tried this blender plugin mrwonko and it works but when I open this ase model I see the same box as I would spawn md3 model in lugormod. But when I open this ase model in radiant I see the model I want though with a bit changed shape. BUGZ AINT FUN GUYS
-
No I can't. Maybe I can't get it working because of converting into ase. When I open the ase model in radiant its a bit diffrent: changed shapes, lower quaility and a bit bugged. It would be awesome if someone knew a program which converts .map directly to .md3 I know there's a program called ET Model Tool but it's for a diffrent game right?
-
yeah I know... but I spent so much time on doing this and I just dont want to.. you know make it wasted
-
Yeah I made a model in Radiant, converted from .map into .ase and now I want it to be md3 so that I can spawn it in lugormod.
-
Hi just like in topic I'm trying to convert ase file to md3. So far I've been using NPherno's MD3 Compiler but without any success. I'm getting a silver box without textures all the time. Any suggestions?

If patch means Curve tab / cylinder then it can't be as small as I want and keep it's cylindric shape. I wonder how do other mappers make cables or pipes or handrails. Not in radiant I think -

Ohm.. well guess I will have to learn what patches are now. -

yeah... well that happens to me a lot when I try to make circle shapes like cylinders. I think the reason is that some planes might overlap, but when I try CSG substract tool it buggs it even more.. Could updating radiant to 1.5 fix the problem? -

I know the texture sucks. It's just test texture. I use gtk radiant 1.4. The way I create a cylinder is simple: create a box and click Brush tab; arbitary sided... and set 24( maybe too much) This is how it looks in radiant: http://imgur.com/GmCkMun What does brush cleanup do? I'm sry for being noobish but I have radiant for just 2 weeks. I'm not yet familiar with it's all options I know very much of entities though thanks to lugormod, however 3D modelling is not my best side. -

I take it as ''there's no other solution'' then. -

it doesn't always fit. I've seen many professional cylinders, cables etc on the other maps. They're not bugged yet still they're not models. -
As in the topic, here is a picture http://imgur.com/e7uqaf0 Is there any easier solution to make a handrail or to get rid of these errors? please respond

kk I know I have to edit the code ent. Asgarath I want it to be a playable vehicle. Anyway don't bother with this cloak thing anymore ; ) I just need help in writing a shader of the shield. The examples you sent me Asgarath83 were nice but hardly fit the picture I posted on the beginning of this thread. I'm a beginner in writing shaders and I hardly understand these parameters. So how do you think I can make these purple waves? Or maybe someone have a proper texture?
