I was actually just playing that. It's very odd. Lost Coast is just a small design made to showoff tech they had improved on and were going to implement for the episodes I think.

Episode 2 is really great too. Playing the 2 episodes and the Portals with the developer commentaries is well worth your time if you are into game design as well. A huge amount of insight to be had.

I remember back in the heyday of the original Half-Life and all those mods like Counter-Strike were starting to pop up, there was a really awesome one called Sven Coop. Used to play that for hours. Cooperative HL scenarios. Some of the original missions were converted to coop too.

Nope Mr. Files. There were some times where it was so frustrating that I could of swore the game was broke, but it was just clever puzzle design. lol.

I wouldn't waste your time on that atm therfiles. You've got a LOT of official content to enjoy. XD

Yeah, HL2 plus it's two episodic content releases are very much worth playing. The episodes actually have an option to play through with developer commentary. They are little talk bubbles floating around the levels, if you press use on them a developer will explain design choices. Super awesome. P.S. Also play Portal and Portal2.
