Patreon Changes

In light of Patreon's service and fee changes, I am still going to continue my funding of jkhub, but is there going to be a notice for those that are supporting the site through Patreon?

Wasn't planning on any notice; I reckon honestly most donators won't notice (2.9% + $0.35 isn't that much), and if anyone should be giving notice of fee changes on Patreon's platform, it ought to be Patreon. They know the details behind how that will work much better than I do myself.

 

I should probably update that Patreon page at some point to be more reflective of what's actually going on and not be filled with information that's just embarrassingly outdated. I'll, uh, get around to that.

The changes to the patreon page should be fair enough for the users. JKhub is the only patron account I fund at the moment so the fees aren't that big of an impact, but there's a lot of hubbub on twitter right now with people losing lots of patrons.

Technically the Patreon you are referring to is Caelum's personal Patreon, and not a direct JKHub Patreon.
