Circa Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I'm confused what the point of this thread is. That petition only has 4 supporters. And your second post is a link to the Battlefront page? wat z3filus and Sithani like this
RAILBACK Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 Yea I'm not sure what the hypes about. Its a small petition. Then I saw the new Battlefront. Its a lot of eye candy. Just wondering if it's any good because it's an EA game. But that shouldn't matter.
IrocJeff Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I bet if we could pull resources here we could probably come up with a pretty kick ass Star Wars game. Or mod or whatever. RAILBACK likes this
RAILBACK Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 I wish Jeff. If we get paid even a small amount I might dedicate more time.... Can we crowd fund?
IrocJeff Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 No, no money involved or anything..I'm not a fan of begging for money over the internet anyhow unless its for the public good. I mean we come up with an original story and create and adventure.with the skill set and resources we have available to us.

Circa Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Yep, those were proposed titles for Lucasarts. None made it past that though. z3filus likes this

Well, technically we would be doing the public a big service by creating a new, independent Star Wars game. But the problem is with the licensing. Disney would quickly jump on us, if this made it through as a successful new game that was financed, to make it worse. Unless we could actually obtain a license from the money we've raised... Perhaps we could present ourselves as an online based game development studio? To Disney, I mean. I'm not sure how much it would cost to license a new Star Wars game with them... Yep, those were proposed titles for Lucasarts. None made it past that though. Some of them look quite nice. Rogue Jedi --> Rogue One, anyone?
McGroose Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Found this picture....http://image.jeuxvideo.com/imd/s/star_wars_annulation.jpgThis makes me wish we had a game called Star Wars: Scum and Villiany. That title is great. Cerez likes this
z3filus Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 We should create an indie game company and buy rights to Jedi Knight and work on the 3rd Jedi Knigth game.... Cerez likes this
Xycaleth Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Then we just need a million dollars to pay all the developers and a few years of development! Sounds easy. Cerez likes this
Cerez Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Yep, I've got a plan. We raid the Disney head office, and force them to sign a contract with us to proceed all profits from Frozen 2 to our cause. Then we blackmail them into accepting our terms for a new Star Wars game! And then we are ready to begin development.
Wystan Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 It's delusional Some people say it's good. I thought the same of mself before i've seen this topic.
