About This File

SP Support: Yes
Team Skins / MP: No
Npc Support: Yes
Bot Support: No

This is a mod that I put together using parts from different models based on:
Luke as Grand Master of the Jedi Academy stories (now "Legends"), that I put together using parts from different models.
Luke from the (now "Legends") Fate of the Jedi: Apocalypse story.
Luke same robes using the colors from the TFA teaser (not the same robes as in the teaser but I like the colors).

The model is also available via NPC (using the “playermodel” command from the console).
playermodel Luke_Grand_Master
playermodel Luke_Apocalypse
playermodel Luke_TFA

Install:
Place the file Luke_Grand_Master.pk3 in your base folder

If you want to replace in-game Luke for SP:
Place either one of the following (just one)
zzz_Luke_GM_Rep.pk3 (Grand Master colors)
zzz_Luke_Apocalypse_Rep.pke (Apocalypse colors)
zzz_Luke_TFA_Rep.pk3 (TFA colors)

Uninstall:
Remove the file Luke_Grand_Master.pk3 (and any of the above replacement you might be using) from your base folder.

Damn, this is pretty good, and exactly what I was looking for. Any chance we could get an Outcast version as well?

Thanks! I am glad you liked it. I will not be available for the next few days but I check from time to time from my phone. If you have a better image of Outcast that the one in the book cover, I (or any of the amazing talented artists here at the Hub) can try.

Ah, there's been a slight misunderstanding. What I meant if that there's any way to transfer this model and skins to Jedi Outcast. I tried doing it myself, first by rerigging the skeleton (which I think I did right), but then when I tried to actually replace Luke's model, I either got a textureless Stormtrooper, an invisible model, or, in the worst case, an outright crash. So if you could help me with this, or at least point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

ahh....Sorry, I thought you were talking about the Outcast book. I have no idea. I haven't played Outcast in ages, heck I don't even know where my CDs are, but I think I saw something about that a while back in the Modding assistance section.

This is an ESSENTIAL NPC.

Unbelievable.  It's everything I ever imagined of what Luke would look like after RotJ.

Thank you for your hard work and generosity.

Hey man, I like these models a lot! I'm currently working on a Replacement pack for Movie Battles 2, and I just wanted to ask permission to use one of these models in the pack.

My MBII Forum account is here: https://community.moviebattles.org/members/embraceable.526/

Thanks in advance.

If you are referring to Grand Master Luke, yes:

"share this work so long as they provide credit to the original author."

In the future, these kind of requests are better handle on PM.

Hi there, this is amazing and works great with Prequel era Jedi, but I was wondering how we get Luke to just wear the tunic without the brown robe (first picture) because when I use the grand master file he has the brown robe with him.

I have downloaded this file several times.

Whenever I try to use Windows to open it I get a "Compressed (zip) folders error" message.

It can be decompressed with 7zip, but that generates an error statement as well, and the files to replace JA's default Luke with one of the Grandmaster variants are not inside.

This corrupted file consistently downloads at a size of 10.4 MB.

Could someone please upload an uncorrupted version with all of the files intact?  I'm thinking that if it's alright with the author, that I'll do a slight modification of the skins to age Luke but not make him as old as in Ep. 7 & 8.

In any case, it'd be great to get this file fixed.  Thanks in advance!

I have reuploaded the file, download again and let me know if it works.

Thank you for reuploading the files Circa!

From my end, there were still issues.  It took me a couple of hours to figure it out.

Here's what worked for me:

(1.) I ended up renaming the ".zip" file to ".rar" and Windows was immediately able to open it upon double-clicking.  I could extract it like any .rar file afterwards.

(2.) A stormtrooper kept appearing in the game instead of Punisher's splendid work.  It was EXTREMELY frustrating!  In the end, I added "z's" prior to the files names till it worked in-game.  I renamed the replacement file to "zzzz_Luke_GM_Rep.pk3" and the main file to "zzzzz_Luke_Grand_Master.pk3."  This ensured that the main file loaded into the game BEFORE the replacement file did.  The stormtrooper disappeared and the splendid model was there instead.

Needless to say, this made me SUPER happy!
