  1. Why aren't all these maps on this site? Better contact the authors immediately, staff!
  2. If no one have suggested it yet; I am sure some would appreciate an option to disable DFA in a server. (disable_DFA 1 ! )
  3. Welcome~
  4. I only play on the Knights Reborn server. Visit our clansite @ http://www.knights-reborn.org for more information, or click the link in my signature.
  5. Have JK3Files lost their administrators/moderators? It kinda pisses me off seeing how inactive and slow they are at uploading files. I've uploaded my files a year ago and it still haven't been put up.
  6. Welcome~
  7. What I am wondering is if there is a "hard" limit? @@ (Basically I am asking if the models have the same "limits" as default, or if they have improved)
  8. What detail level would you want your models to be? I assume it is higher than 1000 vertex... ?
  9. Could someone repost a link to the JKA source code? All of them seem to be down.
  10. Please do not misunderstand; the problem is not the rigging. The problem is after I am done rigging, I have to convert it to XSI, assimilate it (.car something) and get it moving from there @@ I have managed to put a skeleton on a test model (stick-man), but I believe the skeleton doesn't come with it when I export it to obj and import it to mod tools then to export it to xsi. Since the Yoshi model is a bit... well, un-natural, I will make a quickie NPC to figure out how to get the XSI process to work. >< P.S. Added you on Skype AshuraDX
  11. Greetings. Yesterday I made a small model, which I would like to attempt getting into JKA (which may be difficult, considering the "skeleton" wouldn't entirely be human). This is the model, in case you were wondering. Turbosmooth: Either way, I need help finding the correct toolsets for getting it from 3ds max 2009 and into JKA. I have no experience using tools such as Autodesk Mod Tools; I cannot even get the damn camera to move (except zooming in and out!). I am able to use MilkSmash.. MilkSmooth... MilkJunkie or whatever the program is called, which I am using when getting weapons into JKA. I kinda know what i need to do, however I lack the resources for doing so! If anyone could help me (or provide me with the resources for doing it), I would appreciate it.
  12. Better late than never: Several times a day.
  13. I like the idea of uploading .map files so other can edit and/or use it.
  14. Welcome.
  15. Interesting idea. The difference in mapping skill couldn't be any more obvious.
  16. When the new disney "Star Wars" movie is done && I have watched the movie, I will make sure to voice my opinions about it. Until then, speculation would be a waste of time.
  17. I am disturbed to see that I have to login to the web-site to view my files. People should have the right to view my uploaded files without having to register on the web-site. Unless this site is a security risk (which means I shouldn't be here in the first place), I don't think we should block guests from viewing member profiles. Thank you.
  18. College - My head and hands is busy with mathematics and physics, from morning to night. :S
  19. That was an good example of an LoZ player.
  20. In Norway; there are no gaming laptops for 2271 NOK. If you want an "average mainstream" laptop, you will probably need to pay around 3500-5000NOK.
  21. Looking good.
  22. Oh boy. I am absent for a few days to study for my "tests"... I have choosen to buy the Lenovo ThinkPad W530 workstation laptop. I am unable to find any other laptop manufacturer that can provide me with the durability, reliability and power. However, if I find a better laptop within a few weeks after I have received this laptop, I will have the option to return it. Bought an external HDD and +16 GB ram which will be waiting for the laptop, since 256GB is a little for all my pr0ngrams. Thank you for the input so far.
  23. I would like to ask for assistance in choosing a laptop. Requirements: Very durable High quality Powerful enough to rival today's stationary computers. Processing power and memory is a high priority; since I will 90% of the time use it for work related tasks; simulations, rendering of images, programming, interfering with the internet of other students Good (if not better!) graphic card to accompany the awesome CPU. I have been looking into these: 2. MSI GT70 17.3" Full HD http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=762361 (Norwegian site) 1. Lenovo ThinkPad W530 15.6" HD+ http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=765293#extra (Norwegian site) Price range: $4000 Appreciated.
  24. I did no such thing
  25. I'd love to; however - until I finish my christmas exams, I will not have any time.
