  4. well this is what it looks like so far: i'll see if there is anything else i can do before i sent it to the next contestant tomorrow
  5. well i had a busy day today so i only got a bit done on the hallway to the goldroom
  6. well i tried to be unique instead of just making a square with a texture on it
  7. here is what i got done today: added a elevator door and the elevator to the building i also started on the way to the gold room the elevator is not moving yet and i think it would be best if it's controlled by a script instead of just being a up and down door/platform but i'm no good with scripts...

  9. okay my plan so far is to use the big building under the gold room, put at one end of the street and use it to connect to the gold room via a elevator inside just wondering if the previous mappers have any thing against it. so far:
  10. well i just got the map but i won't be able to work on it today so if we need to start over now might be a good time, but i'll leave that up to the other people in the collab if i don't hear anything i'll just start working on it (i guess i could try to fix the some of the scale(?)) EDIT: just took a look at the map and the only thing i can see that out of scale are the stairs from the subway up to the street so they could just be remade

  13. so we can use custom models right? if so are both .md3 and .ase allowed? oh and do we map in sp or mp mode?
  14. i see i though you just put the name of the texture in the model proprieties without a path and just put the model and texture in the same folder guess not i also fixed the animation issue so it now only got 1 frame here it is in game the scale is bit off but seems to work otherwise still getting a bunch of errors when i try to export as .ase
  15. thanks it all works now well the game says it can't find the shader for it so doesn't have a texture ingame and after looking at the other models and the shaders i can't find a solution i found a shader called models but i can't find any of the other game models in it and if i add my own model it still won't work
  16. thanks that worked now i just need to find a way to export the textures with it
  17. so over the last few days i've been trying to lean blender and so far i made this thing yeah i know it sucks but that not the point when ever i try to export it using the Blender 2.64 - Jedi Academy Plugin Suite as md3 this is all i get it seems to only export the bottom and i have no idea why it doesn't give me any errors or any thing like that and if i try to export as an .ase file it gives me this error so anybody got an idea of what's going on? any help would be appreciated
  18. just to let you know this doesn't seem to work with the new 2.65 update for blender i just keep getting errors for almost all the exporters (ase import still works)

  22. ookeey... Can ask what makes the difference between MP and SP movement? or did i miss it somewhere in this thread?
  23. may i ask how movement in sp is bad? i don't feel any difference between mp and sp
