    @Killjoy

Just take a look at our file section. You will definitely find the lightsabers that may interest you. Most of them  even come with SP support.

Well, single player is ONLY what I need, thank you.

    Moved thread to requests forum.

You can only have one mod show up in the saber menu, so you'll have to edit the menu to include all of the ones you have in one file via the tutorial above. That's just how the menus work, unfortunately.

Some that I recommend for this list are:

Galactic Warriors Saber Pack - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

    Kahn D'halaine's Lightsaber - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

Stormtrooper Hilt + NPC - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

    Aegis - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

    Demp2 Lightsaber Hilt - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

Scout Blaster Lightsaber Hilt - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

FC1 Flechette Lightsaber Hilt - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

E-11 Blaster Lightsaber Hilt - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

Heavy Repeater Lightsaber Hilt - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

Bryar Pistol Lightsaber Hilt - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHu

Broken staff sabers for SP - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

The High Republic Inspired Lightsaber Hilt - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

JSS Curved Sith Lightsaber Hilt - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

Naruto X Star Wars sabers - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

Ralph McQuarrie's concept sabers (Luke and Vader) - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

Black Saber (Baal saber) - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

WeaponsHD - The Sith Pack - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

Tutorial Lightsaber - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

Kyrios hilt - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

Evil Genius hilt - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

    Z3-Filus / The Zefilus mini-pack - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

Wookiee Lightsaber Hilts - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

    Jaden Korr's Lightsaber - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

    Raven's Saber - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

    Kane's Lightsaber - Lightsabers & Melee - JKHub

Obviously there's probably more but those are the ones I found that are unique designs not tied to a canon/legends character and fit decently well with the other JKA sabers and not too over the top designs.

This actually got me kind of wanting to do this.

So, I can't just "put" .pk3 file into BASE folder?
    Oh, well...
When I got time...I'll deal with that.
    Thank you for the links.

  2. Hello to all.
I'm looking for mods, custom mods.
I am looking for light sabers.
Not from movies, not from other games....but custom made, from fans and moders.

I want to enhance my (and others) single player experience.
To add more "default light sabers hilts" created by fans, moders...
I accept everything, even longer ones and staff sabers.

    Any suggestions?

P.S. Light sabers which CAN BE visible in GAME MENU not activated by console, please.
I've got some "rookie" kids in neighborhood and they all want to play Academy "ENHANCED".

    Thank you.

  3. Yeah, man, Reborn Masters have Desann lightsaber hilts (I think it's called Retribution?). I'm just not sure if the blade and saber styles are the same, because there seem to be two entries for Desann's hilt in the game files - one using the regular saber blade, the other using Desann's (wider, longer, more powerful).

As a side note: I never really got to experience the saber drop/ pick-up commands. :(

Well, my autocfg file look like this:

    helpusobi 1

    seta r_customwidth 1600

    seta r_customheight 900

    seta r_mode -1

    seta g_subtitles 1

    seta g_sabermorerealistic 2

    seta g_dismemberment 3

    seta g_dismemberprobabilities 40

    seta broadsword 1

    G_saberpickuppabledroppedsabers 1

    dropsaber

    This one is from "jaconfig.cfg":

    bind F5 "G_saberpickuppabledroppedsabers 1; dropsaber"

On every level start, first I drop saber (F5 key), than pick it up with simple "use key" ®.

After Vjun, I really have no need to "build" new lightsaber, just continue with single one.

I've got three styles with single and I can also pick any saber, making myself dual or staff.

    Believe me, it changes everything.

If u want, I can't put mods I'm using and settings on MediaFire so you can try for yourself.

There is some mod inside called

    BGMod (Better Graphics),

    stormtroopers are so precise,

Julianos texture overhaul for Reborn and Disciples,

new hood...just few stuff I like.

I don'w even know if any of them could be found online.

I've got them few years I think...

  4. Hey guys....

    I was shocked just now.

I've got few mods for Jedi Academy....mostly "eye candy" mods....except red color lightsaber called Sekizen...

Also I've got few cheats BINDed (drop lightsaber/pickup)...

(At the beggining of the level, I drop lightsaber than pick it up and than I can pick them up all the way.....even throw staffs).

    Whatever!

I've been on Taspir I and at the very end (bridge with Reborn Master)...Reborn HAD A LIGHSABER from DESANN from JK2.

You know that one? LONGER saber...with that strange hilt with daggers at the end...

    Anyone noticed that ever???

    Smoo likes this
  5. Dude you're a genious!

But I have a few questions.

I've got few cheats enabled permanently.

This is how my autoexec.cfg file looks like:

    helpusobi 1

    seta r_customwidth 1600
    seta r_customheight 900
    seta r_mode -1
    seta g_subtitles 1
    seta g_sabermorerealistic 2
    seta g_dismemberment 3
    seta g_dismemberprobabilities 40
    seta broadsword 1
    G_saberpickuppabledroppedsabers 1
    dropsaber

I've got few mods as well:

    Better graphics mode (created by God knows who, I stripped it....sort of.....droid do not bleed);

compiled with BG mode is Julianos reborn textures and something like that.....

Overall, game looks better.....for me atleast.

    My question is next:

Is there any chance to enable PERMANENTLY (when I turn on game without bringing up console) Tavion and Desann lightsaber style?

I don't know which one is the BLUE one SINGLE HANDED....that style is depicted in KOTF if anybody remebers when playing with Kenobi from Ep3.

That blue one is better than the default one.

Or permanently REPLACE default saber style through console or mode.

And is there a code or mode (permanent ofcourse) to increase JEDI FORCE.....from 100 to 200.....for example?

Ok Jaden is "the chosen one" (built lightsaber all alone)......he should have (my opinion) stronger force than Rosh for example.

Reason behind PERMANENT cheat enabled is next: I can easily drop or pickup lightsaber anytime ingame.

I'm using F5 key to drop and "R" to pick saber.

Saber is realistic enough to cut hands, heads.....not to touch anybody and he is dead (that is stupid).

I can see subtitles all the time (in cutscenes) and while playing.

  6. Yeah, but I'm almost 40 and I love it. I mean truly to each their own, but I love the fact that Luke isn't invincible. He gave himself in sacrifice so that good could live on, so that a new rebellion could begin. He was a broken man that tapped back into the force for all that was left in him. It sucks that Luke is gone, I totally agree with that. I had kind of hoped that he would train Rey longer. But if he had to go, it would be in defense of a sister he loved and a cause he believed in. I guess that's why I can understand the way he went out. In regards to viewing it as a saga, I see it that way too. Characters come and characters go, yet the story, the world moves on.

Still, I respect that people don't have the same opinions. I guess it's just hard to understand the severity of the hate. Pull it from canon? It just feels rather harsh. I mean we had the yuuzhan vong in the EU -- this is mounds better than that. It truly would have been great if Luke finished the saga alive, but it is what it is, and if he had to go out I like the way he did.

As a stand-alone movie......it is OK. But as a part of a saga....it sucks. The way Luke died, it is OK.

    Reason WHY he died.......IT SUCKS.

Snoke is dead. I hoped that he will throw Skywalker like a ragdoll.

I wanted some big FIGHT MAN!

X-Wings are COOL. Poe was awesome and so is Fin.

But overall.....3 out of 10. And that would be poor 3.

Rey has no training whatsoever-- but fights like a decent padawan/young jedi. Luke does not train Rey in anything significant. Zero saber skills...but then when you look back to original triliogy Luke was pathetic in saber fighting as well-- this is because the fight coreograpghers treated "lightsabers" like broadswords from King Arthur days. The prequels were like-- holy shit! this is how lightsaber fighting is suppose to be. Granted, the earlier, original trilogy saber patheticness was due to the fact that they used delicate Lexan rods that broke easily. I'm just hoping Ezra Bridger, or Obi Wan Force Ghost, shows up in Ep.9 to train Rey and help kill or turn Ben Solo back to the light.

    Lightsaber fights in prequels???

    That would be HOLY SHIT!

Yoda and Dooku in Ep2? AMAZING!

    Ben and Anakin in EP3?

Ben and Maul (after Qui-Gons death PART) when Kenobi enters the room and start to kick his ass...DAAAMN!

Lightsaber fights are the main reason why I love the prequels.

The whole Jedi and Sith religion and lightsabers amazes me...

  7. I'm genuinely surprised by all the hate. It was a really enjoyable experience for me, even if it's not the top of the list as far as the films go. I saw it as a clear passing of the torch without feeling too heavy handed about it. I loved that Luke showed power like we haven't seen before. I love that Leia gets the force nod we all knew was there, even if the execution of it wasn't perfect. A lot of the things I've seen questioned across the internet have had precedent in other films.

But with all that being said I'm more disappointed that people didn't enjoy themselves. It's like they went into a different film than I did, or walked into the theater already offended by things they heard on the internet.

I'm not disappointed much, with The Last Jedi.

    I haven't expected much.....so naturally....

I was disappointed with the TFA. There, I expected too much.

My younger sister loved this one. But she didn't absorb SW as much as me in her youth.

She is young, that is a fact, but I "poisoned" her with SW when she was 5-6-7 years old.

This youth today is waaaaay different than us, "elders".

    I'm 31, but sometimes I feel like I'm 51. Like I was born in '60's.

Back in the day we haven't got internet or games that much.

We played as normal kids outside.

Kids these days are dependent of the web, Instagram, Facebook....etc.

    Kids are violent and stupid.

They like ACTION and SPECIAL EFFECTS.

WE, we enjoyed SW as a franchise, as a story, as a book.

Luke Skywalker was our hero and he still is.....my hero.

That is why we are disappointed with the death of LUKE and younger kids aren't.

    It is simple as that.....IMHO.

P.S. I don't know why so many fans hate prequels....to me.....they are just intro into the original trilogy.

Expanded with The Clone Wars animation....and with Rebels.

Even Jar Jar was a funny character. Even my mom is laughing at him.

    Anakin was annoying character.

I even like younger Kenobi, maybe even more than older one.

Only bright spot in TLJ was.........YODA. The MAN, the JEDI.

  8. I had such high hopes for this movie... but the story plot was so weak-- it's like the writers didn't come up with a story until the night before their assignment was due-- and they just did a half-ass job at that. This one is the worst of all SW movies. Very disappointing indeed. Even when Rey gets sucked into the Darkside Anus-- it was so anti-climatic. Rian Johnson and the script writers suck.

My only hope is that the start of Episode 9 has Luke coming out of a "Force Meditation" where he is trying to see the future (i.e. Ep. 8)... and Rey is there and he says-- difficult to see the future is... and thus ep. 8 is just a bad memory of what might have been... and they go on to do a better movie.

Makes more sense than this piece of c**p!

    Anybody say REBELS?

Hell, Hera and Zeb are two outstanding characters, way better than all of them in TLJ.

    TheWhitePhoenix and the_raven like this
  9. I'll just say that this movie made the Prequels watchable to those who criticized them the most.

Prequels were watchable. Only annoying thing for me was the fact that "technology" in prequels looks better than in original trilogy. :D

Such an excitement in TFA to find Luke Skywalker, a "hero of the republic".......just to find out that he is an old as*hole!

    F***in' JJ and R.J.

  10. I just watched it.
    Well......I......I was.....The Last Jedi is a...........HUGE SHHHHHH......!

I've waited for thirty years to see Skywalker in its full potential......and what? Force Illusion???

Snoke? Such a powerfull Force user......DEAD??? Just like that?

    Rest In Peace Star Wars.

P.S. Right now, I'm gonna make some popcorns and I'm gonna watch original trilogy UNALTERED.

    Drop dead Disney!

  11. It would be cool to recreate ALL default lightsabers (to add them to menu) to be used as backhand sabers.

    Arbiter, Retaliator....etc...

So when we all play SP and choose default saber for Jaden....it would be nice to choose any of the default sabers as backhand not only "forehand".

So we have all models for sabers (textures, images.....etc) only coding is needed I think...or whatever you called it.

    What do you think?

AND you can add this.....(with permission of the original creator) to SP menu.

    https://jkhub.org/files/file/710-jaden-korrs-lightsaber/

It would be very nice that Jedi Academy STAYS Jedi Academy.... ;)

  12. Mace Windu is a dumbass that, like most of the Jedi Council, got corrupted by petty politics.

Yoda and Obi-Wan might have more knowledge than Luke, but Luke is much more wise than both of them. That's the whole point of Return of the Jedi, Luke becomes a much wiser man than in The Empire Strikes Back, which allows him to ignore the poor advice of his old masters, which is to kill his father to become a Jedi master, and in doing so, he finds a better way that redeems Anakin and allows the sith to finally be destroyed.

    Good point. Very nice.

  13. Funny how everyone hated her in TCW but loves her in Rebels :D

When's the S4 release date again?

I love her since DAY 1. She was so cute.

    Somewhere in October as usual.

I hate Anakin from "Attack of The Clones" and on. And I hate him in TCW series and I hate him everywhere.

I actually love Jar Jar more than Anakin if you know what I mean.

When I saw her first time in Rebels, I was like: "YEEEEEEY" and I've literally jumped of the chair. :D :D :D :D :D

  14. Well, didn't Luke disobey Yoda's 'advice' on the cave? Didn't Yoda tell him that it was too early, that he wasn't ready, and that he didn't need his weapons?

Maybe he did just assume that being open to Dark Side temptation could be beneficial (after all, it can be, from a certain point of view ). But again, students were exposed to the Dark Side only when they were ready and facing the Jedi trials.

Jaden and Rosh were indeed both trained in Luke's Yavin IV academy (not the space station praxeum-academy, for some reason ), and what happened to them? Rosh was deceitful, overzealous, ambitious, and also cowardly, so he fell to the Dark Side; Jaden was later also dealing with the Dark Side, died, and got cloned (if I remember the novels correctly). Anakin was taken into training because he was special, they believe him to be The Chosen One, so obviously they made an exception, and look where such exceptions got the Order!

Didn't anyone tell Luke that one's trash is another man's treasure? What was ultimately good for him isn't bound to ultimately be good for everyone else. Didn't those damned ghosts tell him about it? Again, the temptation worked for him because he was special. I actually believe that it was him who's The Chosen One, and not Anakin.

Who said Snoke is a dark Jedi? He may not be Sith, but he's still not a Jedi, not necessarily at least. He may have been one of those Emperor's Hands, or maybe something completely different (like a Nightbrother or whatever). We don't know anything about him as yet, so it's really pointless to make assumptions. On the other hand, who sends a student, no matter how talented, to deal with a powerful Force-user? Seems to me that Luke's indeed a bad teacher.

It's stated nowhere in the new canon that Luke had a child. The saber calling to Rey may have simply been the Force, or maybe she did it herself because she was looking for Luke (not like she couldn't do a ton of other things out of the blue <_<). I'm not convinced. And I literally just saw TFA on tv, and there were no tears in Luke's eyes. Her being a Kenobi is far-fetched, I agree with you on that. Though I remember seeing some fan-theory video on youtube where they spoke of the fact that Jedi weren't allowed to have families, but that it didn't forbid them to have sex in general, so Anakin, Luke, Obi-Wan, or any other Jedi, it could still happen. :D

Ben was trained with the Jedi Code? We don't know that, do we now? As far as your posts here go, he was trained in Luke's personal experience, not the Jedi Code. :shifty:

Leia was not a Jedi, but a Force-sensitive, that much is known in canon. She's got a child (Ben) and a husband (Han). Nothing forbade her from doing it.

Ben isn't a bad name, Kylo is sillier, if you ask me. And what is Ren anyway? Did all Knights of Ren have the Ren 'family'-name? It's unknown yet.

They probably named Ben after Ben Kenobi at Luke's request, his reasoning was probably something like: "Ben taught me to be a Jedi, without him we wouldn't have gotten to the Death Star to save Leia, and would ultimately not have stopped the Empire! Besides, Ben's not even his real name, so why not have a Force-user named Ben?"

We also see that Rey was "scared" in trailer, on her knees with some sort of a "crack" in the mountain? Another "Dark Cave"? :D

Jaden and Rosh are trained by Kyle Katarn, not Skywalker.

I also believe (long age) that Luke is The Chosen One, not Anakin. If we can refer to The Clone Wars (Altar of Mortis episode), Anakin IS THE Chosen One.

Shmi Skywalker: "There was no father. I carried him, I gave birth, I raised him. I can't explain what happened". Anakin IS THE Chosen One.

Maz said: "That lightsaber was Luke's. And his father's before him. And now, it calls to you".

    It is obvious isn't it?

You said Luke was special? What is so special about him? "He look like nothing more than a Bantha herder." :D :D :D :D :D (Desann, JO)

He was only "A NEW HOPE", nothing more.

And there is ANOTHER SKYWALKER, Yoda says.

So it could be Leia, not only Luke.

Snoke IS dark Jedi. There are always TWO, Master and Apprentice. Kylo Ren: "By the grace of your training I will not be seduced".

He is his teacher? Master? Who can be a Master/teacher to a Sith? A Jedi? :D:PHe is a Sith.

Ben Kenobi is trained by Jedi Order (Jedi Code). Yoda trained Dooku, Dooku trained Qui-Gon (possibly, I'm not sure), Qui-Gon trained Obi-Van/Ben.

It makes more sense that Leia called her son "Bail" as Bail Organa. :D :D Right? That is a joke. ;)

You are constantly referring to the "expanded universe". Original Movies canon, please.

There are Jedi (light side), Sith (dark side) and force sensitive people (neither). Nobody else.

There are no Inquisitors, no Reborn, no Bendu and such crap. There is NO ARMY of Sith/Dark Jedi soldiers. There are no "sith-kung fu fighters/force users-duo"(guy with a blade and guy with fists), "Disciples of Ragnos".

Rule of Two (expanded universe) is just a proof that there are only two.

    Sidious and Maul;

    Sidious and Tyranus;

    Sidious and Vader;

    That's it.

Yoda: "Always two there are, no more, no less. A master and an apprentice".

And I literally just saw TFA on tv, and there were no tears in Luke's eyes.

Look at his eyes man....he cried....

He probably felt a tragedy of father killed by his son.

And he was probably shocked to see Rey...bringing him his lightsaber.

    eBTnEa2Nz8ASSfgegnZcD7-1200-80.jpg

  15. I'm not mixing "expanded universe" or "star wars legends" or whatever they called it right now....with original movies only things which are same.

Luke passed on what he knows.

He doesn't know that "feeling the dark side" is not good for young jedis.

It was good for him so he passed that knowledge.

He knew that he has to face "dark jedi" (Vader) to complete his training.

Kylo Ren was probably faced Snoke and he was turned.

He thought that there was GOOD in every "dark jedi".....Han payed it with his life.

He even had a child (Rey is probably his daughter, saber called her, tears in Lukes eyes when he saw Rey and blue saber)...some people suggesting that Rey is actual Kenobi.

I don't believe in that. It doesn't make any sense. Ben was trained by the "Jedi Code", right?

Leia have a child (we can assume that Leia was not a Jedi only Force "sencer" :D ). Child named Ben aka Kylo Ren (stupid name Ben)....Han hated the "old fossil" and Leia never met him. They screwed it, right?

  16. But ain't that like, against the Jedi Code? There are Padawan trials for this, you know!

Well, considering that the Jedi\ Sith by the time of KOTOR were "as children playing with toys" compared to the ancient ones (namely the Jedi Exiles that established the Sith 'religion'), it makes sense that Luke ain't as powerful as Yoda or Windu, and I'm not talking about Force mastery, I'm talking about actual knowledge. But I suppose the "Ancient Jedi temple" of which you speak could have taught him things, though it's strange the Empire didn't sack it like it did the rest.

Probably it is. But Luke was "tempted" by the dark side aura....(dark cave on Dagobah).....since Yoda was his master very short and so was Ben....I'm guessing he just thought

that "dark side temptation" COULD be good for students.

Good for students that they should know what dark side feels like.

    I'm just guessing....

Remember Jaden Korr and Rosh? They were all adults so to speak....Luke trained full grown people and Anakin at the age of 10 was "TOO OLD" to be trained.

WHAT JEDI CODE, I'm asking you? ;)

  17. Note: Before anything, it's not a complaint about the removal of old canon, it's just a fan discussion.

One thing that's always bothered me with Luke's academy on Yavin 4 was the fact that Yavin 4 used to be a Sith world. Yes, it's got a strong Force 'field' (aura, if you will), but it's a dark sided field, therefore isn't it counter intuitive to be training Jedi there? - He's exposing untrained (undertrained) students to the dark side! Luke himself said it in JKA that the Massassi temple had a 'residual dark side aura'!

Now, some of you might remind me that the Jedi Temple on Coruscant was also built atop a Sith shrine, which in turn was built atop a Coruscant mountain (not that the latter is all that important in this case, but it is a place of natural Force power), but the old Jedi were way more informed and powerful than Luke is and ever will be, so obviously they had those 'cleansing' rituals that would counter the dark side influence of a place - most religions have those in some form after all. Does Luke know those rituals? It's not mentioned anywhere. Luke just moved in and established an academy on Yavin 4. What was his reasoning exactly? Because it was the former base of the good guys? (if I'm not mistaking, it was the same temple as the rebel base featured in Ep4) The Rebels were just random people, people that have a wide range of emotions, including negative ones - they hated the Empire, wanted to destroy it, went to war against it. Sure, their reasons were pure (mostly), but those were still strong and negative emotions and actions. Not to mention that not all rebels were actually nice people, there were cutthroats among them too! (an example of this were the rebels featured in Rogue One at that).

So, what do you guys think? Why did Luke establish a Jedi academy on a Sith world? Why not return to Coruscant? Or why not establish one on Dantooine (since in the old canon, there had already been a Jedi Enclave there) since it is a canon world.

Probably because it is peaceful place.....at least it looks that way......nature, trees...waterfalls....

And the "dark side aura"....probably because of young students...to make them feel or taste the dark side...to tempt them...to see who is "weak minded"....I'm just guessing.

We don't know how powerful Luke Skywalker is.....

We can ASSUME that he is less powerful than Yoda or Windu...

You can wait episode VIII to see what he learned from Ancient Jedi temple....

In episode VIII he is like 50-60 years old....that is a lot of experience since ROTJ.

He can be even more powerful than Yoda...who knows (G. Lucas) :D
