  1. There's ALOT that frostbyte can do that rend2 cannot I would think. For starters, we are still restricted to a ridiculously low triangle count compared to today's standards. @@Xycaleth , want to elaborate?
  2. @@Grab I'm just saying wait until we see the game footage at the very least, I'm going to wait for reviews before passing judgement. I mean, you guys could be very well right that the game is going to be crap but I like to wait for hard proof and not just assumptions based on what has been revealed. FYI - I was VERY wrong about how Arcania was going to be great. I bought the game and 30 mins in, I haven't played since. Since then, I wait for reviews and gameplay footage.
  3. Tekken, now that was a fun game.
  4. Well let's just hope this game is worth the money. I certainly won't be an early adopter, I'll be waiting for reviews.
  5. I know at least SoF2 SP has player locked ladders with animation, not sure about MP if you wanted to see how it works for that game. I forget what I did, but I got basic ladders working by fixing something in the code somewhere. I know that the ladder code is tied to the water code in a few places. I wouldn't mind helping out for sure. Let me know what you want me to do whether it's animation, modelling or level design. Weapons could use more work - by that I mean increasing the triangle count for viewmodels. Levels look quite low quality as well. All areas in which I am able to help if you'd like.
  6. Ghoul2 viewmodels would be a great feature for this, if it's not already in. Also, are you going to add decent ladders where the player is locked and it plays an animation? Do you need any animators, level designers or artists?
  7. Is there really bitching about a $60-$70 pricetag? New games in Australia are usually around $89.95 or $99.95. This game for PC is $89.95, and $99.95 on consoles. I'd love to have a $60-$70 pricetag....

  9. I reckon Phasma will have her helmet off when not in battle and on the ships, and just put it on when in battle. I also think she will have a talking role to command troops. I'm just glad they didn't mold out the boobs for her armor like the fan-made female Stormtroopers. While they are hot as hell, the design doesn't fit.
  10. Bulked the arms & legs slightly, added the missing detail to the sides of the helmet: Helmet has specular texture, making sure dark details aren't lost.
  11. I'd load this as an effect as you can load MD3 models to the .EFX files. Then use a sphere MD3 model with a cool shader applied to it.
  12. I totally forgot one detail on the sides of the helmet lol, will do that later today. P.S I thought I'd make it for JKA and show everyone progress but not release it. /runs May fools!
  13. No but a similar looking effect can be made.
  14. Just use carefully.
  15. Off topic but can jaMME make every rendered texture have a normal/bump map, or did I have a dream it did?
  16. I might be interested in helping out with a job or two. Any videos?
  17. Surely there's sniper rifles with zooming though? :\
  18. I thought there was bots? No zooming or iron sights? Wow. :/
  19. Here's another update:
  20. Time for an update:
  21. Those clipping issues are most likely due to trying to fit the model to the JKA skeleton. To make it look decent, it needs its own skeleton.
  22. He may as well just make this playable, his skills are undeniable.
  23. Need more Rend2 completion for such graphix.
  24. Damn, oh well.
  25. Then perhaps don't compare it? It's going to be its own game, otherwise it'd be called Star Wars: BF2 - HD Edition. Until we have seen gameplay, can't really judge.
