I personally like TFA, and it's going to forever be a part of the Star Wars storyline to me, but not everyone has to accept it as the true storyline. Now, that doesn't mean that just because someone doesn't feel connected, they automatically hate the movie. Just like anything else in the world, it is not that black and white. We're talking about the fact that for the first time star wars is truly being divided into multiple universes, so the word canon is not applying to the series as a whole. There are multiple universes where things are canon that aren't in others. Think batman and such. Theres no set in stone official canon. At least in my eyes.

So the game's character customization options are just head, torso, legs. Is there a way I could add more? Like boots, hands, hair, without just making doubles of the torso and leg options?

I was thinking more for the AI. When it was fighting it would switch to another character (obi wan for example) and go idle as proxy.
