  1. My PC hd died. Should I get a SSD over the conventional one?

I play JKA on both laptop and PC. Laptop runs JKA both on SSD drive and external, and I've found it to be more FPS stable external than internal SSD. PC runs JKA internally on its single drive until it died.

The part I don't get is that it runs better on the laptop with the portable drive than an internal one. Hmmm..

Like eezstreet alluded to, you'll get faster load times but that is about it.

Figure out your budget, your storage needs, compare SSd vs HDD and make your decision. It all boils down to getting a good $$$deal anyhow.

From what I've read, if a single chip dies on the SSD then the whole thing is dead with 0 chance of recovery
