In conclusion: I can understand the people who says "Je suis Charlie", but I can understand as well the people who says "Je ne suis pas Charlie". Things aren't black or white, they are a little more complex. By confusing mode of expression with content, you treat the issue in the same black and white way that you condemn others to. I don't care whether they were far-right nazi mysogynists or radical islamists, what happened to them was utterly despicable and I show solidarity with them not because I like or care about anything they do, but because I like and care about their right to do what they do.
