  1. IF I may state my own beliefs, I think we should make something so outstanding that all the players come back to this game. A full conversion yes. But also, a complete increase in FPS, playability, and memory. We should turn this game into something special. Total conversion, in my own opinion. Of course, this is our community project, so we'd all have to agree on it.

  2. Hey guys. I don't know about you, but I feel as if this isn't a community. I feel it is a group. Almost like a group you've been forced into after a teacher forces you to partner up with two other people since your friends already joined together. I feel that one large communtiy project-total conversion, playermodel pack- whatever, would be a great way to bring everyone tgoether through teamwork and cooperation/coordination.

    Now then, let's banter about ideas?

  3. Yes, because I'm sure SOE would be quite fond of the idea of letting people take assets from their games and using them in games which could be seen as a situational direct competition for their online MMO. :rolleyes:

     

    (Incidentally, the same Sony that also threw a big fit and installed malware on peoples' computers over piracy)

    Which is no longer in existence, therefore, since the MMO is no longer online, this wouldn't be a competition at all, when you think about it.

  4. I'm going to go out on a limb and say DT shouldn't make anything. I think he should just edit some things. For example, add gauntlets (for lack of a better name) to all jedi, as they appear in The Clone  Wars television series. Or make the arms and legs on Neomarz' Clone trooper models cylindrical.

  5. Weighted and segmented. Not perfect, but maybe good enough. As I've said, I don't really have time or motivation to dig really deep into it (never heard of or seen this guy, and no one on JKhub made him :P)

     

    Haven't exported xsi yet, due to an error with the 64-bit exporter (edit: no error, my fault), so I'll let you try to do the rest of the process with tutorials. Remember, I've already spent many hours writing a tutorial for this. So give it a try :) What remains is converting it to .glm or fixing compiler errors, and packing it together in a pk3 with the textures + .skin files referring the body parts to the right textures. Caps not included.

    Sorry to be a corrector, but I believe Neomarz' Plo Koon VM is the only Plo we have.
